AEROSPACE is a very interesting NH newcomer for Archie Watson. Last seen running in a decent Flat handicap off a mark of 89, the five-year-old son of Sea The Stars has plenty of stamina in his pedigree and looks to have been found a nice opening on his first outing over hurdles. As a half-brother to useful NH performer Longhouse Sale, Largy Texas is another to note on his racecourse bow and any market support for Stuart Crawford's gelding should be noted. Fairmac's hurdling debut fourth at Cartmel wasn't devoid of promise and he could be the best of those with experience over timber.
Prediction : 1st Aerospace 2nd Largy Texas 3rd Fairmac

Sean McParlan made a successful raid on these shores when landing a Uttoxeter bumper with CABRA LADY last month and the five-year-old mare is fancied to go well on her hurdling bow. She showed promise in third when not getting home over 2m2f on her NH debut and there could be plenty more to come over obstacles. Southey ran with credit when runner-up in a 2m2f maiden hurdle at Downpatrick and he is another respected runner for the Irish, while United Front outran his odds of 18/1 when a well-held second in a decent novice contest at Stratford and Fergal O'Brien's gelding also looks a leading player in an open contest.
Prediction : 1st Cabra Lady 2nd Southey 3rd United Front

Don McCain has won two of the last three runnings of this contest and he has strong claims again this year courtesy of DRIPSEY MOON, who has gone down by narrow margins the last twice. He won his maiden hurdle over this trip here last summer and the drop back in distance should suit. His rising mark leaves him with no margin for error, though, and Parisencore looks a big danger off only 2lb higher than his C&D success in June. Irish raider Carnfunnock completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Dripsey Moon 2nd Parisencore 3rd Carnfunnock

An open-looking contest sees a chance taken on INVICTUS WORLD, who made a pleasing seasonal reappearance when third over 2m4f at Hexham in June. The six-year-old was beaten just under than two lengths on that occasion and he can go close off an unchanged mark. Bishop Hill has been running consistently well in novice company of late and a mark of 105 doesn't appear too steep on her handicap debut, while Beau Della is also noted on her handicap bow.
Prediction : 1st Invictus World 2nd Bishop Hill 3rd Beau Della

Lights Are Green showed a likeable attitude when scoring over the extended 3m1f at Cartmel on his latest outing, but a 6lb rise in the ratings may leave him vulnerable to some better treated rivals. Therefore, it's the reopposing BREAKING THE ICE (second) who gets the nod. George Bewley's charge disappointed last time over 2m5f at Cartmel, but this step up in trip, along with better ground, can see him return to form. He's 6lb better off with his stablemate today when taking into account Edward Austin's 5lb claim, while Macavity also warrants respect.
Prediction : 1st Breaking The Ice 2nd Lights Are Green 3rd Macavity

ENTHUSED was a comfortable winner when last seen over timber at Uttoxeter (runner-up on the Flat at Newmarket since) and a repeat of that effort would see him difficult to beat today. James Owen's runner has been raised 4lb in the ratings for that two-length success but Alex Chadwick's 5lb negates of that hike and he can go in again. King's Castle arrives here seeking a five-timer, having started his winning run off a 19lb lower mark, and another bold bid can be expected, while Oslo is also considered.
Prediction : 1st Enthused 2nd Kings Castle 3rd Oslo

PAMMI is a standing dish here, with seven of her eight wins over hurdles coming (six over C&D) and all of them off higher marks than this. She hasn't been at her best recently and only finished eighth of 10 here last month, but is the one to beat if finding some form again. Unspeakable returns to hurdles and could be interesting off his current mark, along with Dalileo, whose recent placed form here gives him a shout.
Prediction : 1st Pammi 2nd Unspeakable 3rd Dalileo

With precious little form to work with, Micky Hammond may have found a suitable opportunity for SHADOWFAX OF ROHAN on his debut for the yard. Fourth on his Worcester debut and a five-length second at Stratford last month, a bit more improvement may be all he needs to go one better here. King Roly wasn't beaten far when fourth on his first start of the year at Worcester and he looks a huge danger, while Ghidora is an interesting newcomer and should be monitored for market support.
Prediction : 1st Shadowfax Of Rohan 2nd King Roly 3rd Ghidora
