The gelded son of Havana Grey arrives on the back of a solid third at Newmarket and another prominent showing is forecast off an unchanged mark. Safari Dream may fare best of the remainder.

Having filled the runner-up berth on his last two outings, Aysgarth enters nursery company off what looks a workable mark. Clive Cox' colt must be taken seriously, but fellow nursery debutant WILD CLARY makes slightly more appeal. The Dark Angel gelding boasts a similar profile and he lost little in defeat when second to a subsequent Listed runner-up at Salisbury in June. Royal Equerry is also noted on her return to 6f.

After registering back-to-back commanding successes over 1m6f at Wolverhampton, this appears a good opportunity for STANDBACKANDLOOK to bring up the hat-trick. William Knight's runner has a 6lb penalty for the latest six-and-a-half length win and Brandon Wilkie's 5lb claim aids her cause. Theonlywayiswessex was beaten just a neck on his last Flat start in April and looks the biggest danger, while Veer can also make the frame.

BOWOOD looked firmly ahead of the handicapper when defying a 5lb rise over 1m at Ripon last time and he appears likely to add to his winning sequence. Ivan Furtado's charge scored in comfortable fashion by nearly four lengths and connections can't be blamed for trying to strike while the iron is hot. The principle threat is likely to come in the shape of fellow last-time-out winner Always Fearless, who won well over 1m at Windsor and this 5lb rise doesn't appear out of his reach, while Hostelry also makes the shortlist.

Saachi was sent off joint-favourite when finishing fourth over 1m2f at Epsom last month, but better can be expected from Harry Eustace's charge. Lia Rose was only beaten just more than a length over 1m2f at Windsor on her latest outing, but a 2lb hike could prove difficult to defy. Therefore, it's OVERTURE who gets the nod to follow up her Salisbury success. That form can be marked up given Sir Mark Prescott's filly did a lot wrong before taking up the running towards the closing stages of that contest and this 4lb rise appears within her reach.
