Blue Point filly GUTSY GIRL has really come into her own since handicapping. She was keen enough at Kempton last month but came through strongly and stayed on well in the closing stages to get on top from another nice filly in Rosa Applause.
In fact the form looks decent and the clock also backed that performance up. She is up 7lb but should have more to come back on turf with the drop back to the minimum trip expected to suit too.
Her trainer Charlie Fellowes has a good record with horses on second and third starts in handicaps too so when you delve into the stats no great surprise to see her thriving now. She has only had a handful of starts overall so despite the rise in weight is expected to run a big race.
