With 3 non runners in this already the race is cutting up so SUNBELT may well prove worth chancing. She looked potentially useful winning on debut at Yarmouth 2 years back. She likely suffered a setback as we didn’t see her for some 607 days before reappearing at Doncaster back in June. She ran with credit to finish midfield and now handicapping with that under her belt should have plenty of improvement to come.

John and Thady Gosden have done well with handicap debutants this year operating with a near 15% strike rate and more notably a 37% place strike rate so an opening mark of just 80 may well prove lenient for this filly by Zoffany. The step up in trip is also another positive on breeding.
