Only five runners contest this 0-60 handicap and it looks a good opportunity for DRUSILLA (best priced at 9/4) to follow up her recent course and distance success.

The daughter of Saxon Warrior had showed very little on her first four career starts on fast ground but appeared to relish the heavy ground here last time when making all by 1 ¼ lengths. 

Drusilla probably isn’t well treated under a 5lb penalty when the handicapper reassesses her but the fact she handles both the track and the ground means that she should prove hard to beat.

The Gary & Josh Moore trained INIGO (best priced at 3/1) gained a much-deserved victory last time at Uttoxeter and he should hold strong claims off a 7lb higher mark.

The six-year-old had previously fallen late on at Kempton and Southwell when still in contention before winning by 4 ¼ lengths last time when fitted with first time blinkers. 

If the blinkers work for a second time for Inigo then he should prove hard to beat under Freddie Mitchell in this conditional jockeys’ race.

This Silver Cup looks to be between the in-form pair Quietness and WALTER HARTRIGHT (best priced at 11/4) with preference going to the latter who has the benefit of course form.

The Ed Dunlop trained gelding has shown much improved form this season in blinkers with form figures of 11112 including two victories over this course and distance on good to firm ground.

The three-year-old finished a close 2nd in the Racing League on his latest start at Chepstow behind Lieber Power who has since boosted that form with two runner-up efforts and is now rated 10lbs higher. 

Walter Hartright runs here off only a 2lb higher mark so he should prove well handicapped and can make it a third course and distance victory.
