Trainer George Scott is in great form at the moment operating at a 25% strike rate in the past fortnight. He has also had a good year with handicap debutants with 4 winners and 9 placed efforts from 20 runners. Both the 4/1 looks worth playing and the Even money to hit the frame (3 places).

I have liked what I’ve seen from this son of New Bay so far and with the promise of more to come over this trip I think he can get back in the winners enclosure. Hood applied again and lots to like once more.

Sea The Stars filly who won two of her first three starts before finishing a creditable midfield in the Irish Oaks. She has more to come back down to this sort of trip and she looks the one to side with.

Beverley 5.30 Mr Jetman (2/1)

A better ride would have seen this 4yo win at Ripon last week. He stayed on really well but just couldn’t get clear daylight and finished on the heels of the leaders. That form has already been franked.
