Sunday Racing Tips from Steve Ryder

  • Dubai Honour 13/8 (1pt) - 2:00 Baden Baden
  • Oj Lifestyle 9/4 (1pt) - 3:52 Brighton

14:00 Baden Baden

2:00 Baden Baden - Dubai Honour 13/8 (1pt)

Only one horse trained in the UK has run in this since Barney Roy won it in 2020 DUBAI HONOUR (best priced at 13/8) should hold strong claims this year for William Haggas and Tom Marquand.

The six-year-old won the Group 1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud on his penultimate start on good to soft ground before disappointing on good to firm ground when an outsider in the King George at Ascot.

Dubai Honour is joint top rated with Fantastic Moon who was 2nd in a Group 1 at Munich last time but it would be disappointing if he couldn’t get back to winning ways in this race.

15:52 Brighton

3:52 Brighton- Oj Lifestyle 9/4 (1pt)

This looks a competitive 0-68 handicap but preference goes to OJ LIFESTYLE (best priced at 9/4) who won over this course and distance last month. The Gary & Josh Moore trained four-year-old won by 2 ¼ lengths in first time blinkers last time off a mark of 65 and a 5lb rise from the handicapper looks lenient.

That was the first run over a mile for a year for OJ Lifestyle and he comfortably won the six-runner contest. He should get a good early position once again from Stall 6 and prove hard to beat with Tom Queally once again on board.

14:35 Chepstow

Horse Racing Tips for Tomorrow

Monday 2:35 Chepstow- Inshad 3/1 (1pt)

The George Boughey trained two-year-olds are operating at a 20% strike rate this season and I am expecting to see a step forward on what INSHAD (best priced at 3/1) has achieved so far. The son of Gregorian wouldn’t have been suited by the minimum trip he has contested so far this season and he now steps up in trip to 7f having been gelded since his latest start.

Inshad makes his handicap debut off a mark of 53 and he is expected to show a much amount of improvement with Billy Loughnane retaining the ride.
