Wednesday Stat Bet
I know the stable form is a slight worry but even so at the prices I think it might be worth taking a chance on MOON ANGEL now pitched into a handicap.
She didn’t show a huge amount on her first two starts but was sent off 50/1 and 200/1 so perhaps that was to be expected. She improved when fourth at Kempton last month and now handicapping off a mark of 69 could step forward again and get involved here.

When you delve deeper into the stats Harry Eustace is a trainer to keep on side with handicap debutants operating at a near 24% place strike rate over the past five years so the 6/5 for this filly to hit the frame looks a great bet and with just eight runners the 5/1 is worth a play each way too as I think she can improve a fair bit on what we’ve seen so far and get involved.

Lucky 15 Tips Today
Today’s Lucky 15 from Joe Norris at GYTO pays 212/1 at the time of posting – a £1 Lucky 15 would return £595 from a £15 outlay.
- Savannah Smiles – Lingfield 2.05
- South Pole - Carlisle 4.28
- Long Draw - Worcester 5.10
- Old Sea - Cork 6.55
Despite being briefly denied a run SAVANNAH SMILES ran out an impressive winner over this C&D earlier in the month. That was a career best and despite carrying a penalty if she is in the same form then I can see her going close in this as it is actually an easier race on paper. Honour Your Dreams looks the main danger and also has to shoulder a penalty so it should be a good shootout between the pair.
16:28 Carlisle
I know SOUTH POLE is a bit uneasy in the betting but he should have a good chance to make the breakthrough here. He looked a bit one paced at Kempton but I still think he is a rough around the edges and now switched back to turf over a trip he remains unexposed over I think he could have a big say in the outcome. He has been dropped 3lb too and looks worth chancing.
17:10 Worcester
Everything came together for LONG DRAW at Ffos Las when last seen and he powered through the line to win going away. That visual impression was backed up by the clock too so despite a 6lb rise I think he could be hard to beat. He has been given time since that run too which I like and at this level could be quite a nice prospect for the yard. Presenting Nelly can improve and looks the danger.
18:55 Cork
Blue Point colt OLD SEA ran quite a nice race when third at Killarney when last seen. He has been a work in progress but if building on that latest effort will be a major player here. The form of that last run has been franked since too with the winner Monasterboice winning twice since and the third Flying Bay also winning at Galway last month. He should continue to improve and this looks a decent opportunity to get off the mark.
