DREAM TODAY has won at this unique venue for the past two years and can make it a hat-trick. The veteran gelding has 10 career wins to his credit, chiefly over this trip, and still retains plenty of ability as evidenced by his third to Little Queenie and Dontspoilasale over an inadequate 5f at Dundalk last time. Jered Maddox also won over C&D last year, but his form has tailed off quite a bit since winning twice at Dundalk this spring. Dynamic Force may prove a greater threat having won a Killarney claimer this summer and he beat all bar Imperial Dream in a 21-runner 6f Curragh handicap last month.
Prediction : 1st Dream Today 2nd Dynamic Force 3rd Dontspoilasale

MOKAATIL held a rating of 88 two years ago before losing his way but has enjoyed a fruitful campaign this season and completed a hat-trick of wins all at Chepstow when scoring over this trip last month. Ian Williams' raider remains on a competitive mark and is preferred to Cherry Pink, who only joined Ado McGuinness this summer but may find this a bit sharp having won over a mile at Bellewstown last month. Rumbled Again was claimed at Gowran last time following a creditable third to Cordouan, while Harriet Eagle is another to consider after making a successful reappearance, also over 7f at Gowran.
Prediction : 1st Mokaatil 2nd Rumbled Again 3rd Cherry Pink

CORDOUAN is not the most consistent of performers but has bright prospects if putting his best foot forward. The Shalaa gelding won over C&D in 2022 and recorded a third career win on his penultimate start in a 7f Gowran claimer. However, he needs to bounce back following a disappointing effort at the same venue. Beauty Bella had plenty of placed form before landing a Dundalk maiden earlier this year for Adrian Murray and now has her first outing for Jack Davison, while Chestnutter won twice over this trip last year for Noel Meade but hasn't shown much recently for current connections. Chica Power and Miss Abby Jools are also seeking to recapture previous form.
Prediction : 1st Cordouan 2nd Beauty Bella 3rd Miss Abby Jools

This looks a good opportunity for JEANIEMACARONEY, as she drops back to 7f for the first time since her barrier trial success in August of 2022. Successful over flights at Roscommon in July, she has filled the runner-up spot on two starts since, going down by just half a length at Clonmel most recently. Rated just 2lb inferior to the selection, Red Special might be flattered by his mark of 70 and looks opposable. Third at Gowran in July, Roman Harry is capable of making an impact with Seamie Heffernan aboard, while Clonmel third Lohengrin is another leading contender. Hezahunk, Endless Pursuit and If You Let Me are others to consider in this weak affair.
Prediction : 1st Jeaniemacaroney 2nd Roman Harry 3rd Lohengrin

IMPOSING SUPREME has been in fine form of late and should give a good account of himself in this competitive affair. A winner at Galway last month, he finished sixth of 16 on his most recent start at Navan and was just a head in front of the reopposing Livio Milo. That Dermot Weld-trained grey was since fourth at Clonmel and looks capable of making an impact. Patrick Mullins takes the ride on 15-time winner Harry's Bar, with just one of his victories coming over this trip. First and third in this very contest 12 months ago, Punk Poet and Hightimeyouwon both warrant respect, while Jungle Cove and Set Point are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Imposing Supreme 2nd Livio Milo 3rd Punk Poet

While continually dropping from his initial mark of 104, QUAR SHAMAR might be able to get back on track here. On what was just his second start for current connections, the chestnut four-year-old made late progress in the Cambridgeshire to finish a never-nearer 10th of 24. In much calmer waters now and with John Gleeson claiming a valuable 5lb, he looks the one to beat. Ger O'Leary has been on a spending spree of late and his new recruit Acotango is of definite interest off a mark of 82. Successful on debut in April of 2022, Tough Talk hasn't managed to win since. Disappointing in recent starts at Fairyhouse and Galway, he should be able to make an impact in a contest of this quality. A runner-up at this fixture 12 months ago, Tamazu is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Quar Shamar 2nd Acotango 3rd Tough Talk
