A low draw combined with first-time cheekpieces could be a winning combination for TEES GEORGE in his bid to gain compensation for a handful of recent near misses. A close second on his only previous run at this course, the selection has scope to progress over this trip and another bold showing is expected, with Hollie Doyle an eye-catching jockey booking. Regency Boy tries a mile for the first time and can figure prominently if the drop in trip doesn't catch him out. Starshot and Clotherholme complete the shortlist. Prediction : 1st Tees George 2nd Regency Boy 3rd Starshot

AMERICAN STYLE takes a drop in class after contesting a valuable sales race at York and is readily suggested as the one to be with in this company. Invincible Crown has also shown promise and can give the selection the most think about returning to maiden company. On Key and Azuinthejungle also hinted at ability on their respective debuts and are a couple of other notable types to monitor in the betting. Prediction : 1st American Style 2nd Invincible Crown 3rd On Key

Runner-up on her last two starts, BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU has done very little wrong in defeat of late and, with the bonus of her 5lb fillies allowance, appears to have been found a decent opportunity to get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. Youvegotoshowmeluv is forwarded as the chief threat on the back a promising debut run at Catterick three weeks ago, while Tippy Top has also created a favourable enough impression to make the shortlist. Prediction : 1st Beaujolais Nouveau 2nd Youvegotoshowmeluv 3rd Tippy Top

Having struggled to land a blow in a competitive nursery at York last month, this represents a good opportunity for MISS HATHAWAY. Tim Easterby's charge had shaped as if a win could be just around the corner in her starts prior to that experience, and she can get off the mark. After back-to-back silver medal finishes, Sands Of Indi is feared most after being narrowly denied over 7f at Newcastle earlier this month, while Surprised should also be on the scene. Prediction : 1st Miss Hathaway 2nd Sands Of Indi 3rd Surprised

KALAHARI BLUE was only collared late over 6f at Nottingham last time and she looks likely to go one better. The form of that contest has since been boosted by the winner scoring subsequently and this drop in trip doesn't appear likely to be an issue. The biggest danger is likely to come in the form of Blue Zodiac, who struggled to land a blow in Listed company last time, but she can be seen to better effect dropped in class, while the consistent Glamour Show isn't easily discounted. Prediction : 1st Kalahari Blue 2nd Blue Zodiac 3rd Glamour Show
16:18 Beverley
Having been beaten just a half-length over C&D last time, GLORY HYDE appears likely to offer another bold bid. The three-year-old has been raised just 1lb for that narrow miss, which could prove lenient. Last-time-out winner Zarzyni is likely to pose the most significant questions to the selection, carrying a 4lb penalty for his head success over 5f at Musselburgh, while Alligator Alley is also likely to feature. Prediction : 1st Glory Hyde 2nd Zarzyni 3rd Alligator Alley

William Haggas has a commendable record on the Westwood and his representative Ever Hopefull merits serious consideration, with that in mind. Preference, though, is for FOX AVATAR. The son of Frankel shaped with promise when finishing third over a mile at Salisbury on his debut and this greater test of stamina ought to suit. Royal College appeals most of the remainder. . Prediction : 1st Fox Avatar 2nd Ever Hopefull 3rd Royal College

Twin Earth has few miles on the clock and may benefit from the addition of first-time cheekpieces, while the less-exposed Skinny Malinka has shown promise in novice/maiden events and, now pitched into handicaps, he could go well. However, a chance is taken on last year's winner DANDY'S ANGEL. There have been signs of a revival from John Wainwright's mare recently and given that she is now 8lb below that winning mark, the daughter of Dandy Man might provide some value.Prediction : 1st Dandys Angel 2nd Twin Earth 3rd Skinny Malinka
