Joe Norris from GYTO Wednesday Stat Bet and Lucky 15 tips for today’s horse racing.
17:28 Beverley
GYTO horse racing tips for Wednesday 18th September features a stat bet for Beverley and a Lucky 15 covering Yarmouth, Sandown and Beverley.
Wednesday Stat Bet
I can see SKINNY MALINKA going close here on handicap debut.
This 3yo shaped better than the bare result when fifth at Southwell at the start of the month and now handicapping off a mark of just 69 could easily improve and land a blow here. The step up to a mile and a quarter is only going to be a positive and he is overpriced at 13/2.
William Hill
- Solid in-play betting service
- Cash-in option to help increase profitability
- Excellent reputation within the UK betting-industry
Trainer Ed Bethell is having a good year with handicap debutants too recording seven winners and 13 placed efforts from just 29 runners and with both the yard and jockey in good form this horse should be going close against these.

Lucky 15 Tips Today
Today’s Lucky 15 from Joe Norris at GYTO pays 210/1 at the time of posting – a £1 Lucky 15 would return £605 from a £15 outlay.
- Hold A Dream – Yarmouth 2.30
- Own Accord - Sandown 3.55
- Overture - Yarmouth 4.40
- Fox Avatar - Beverley 4.53
Yarmouth 2.30 Hold A Dream (5/2)
Bated Breath filly HOLD A DREAM has knocked on the door on both starts to date and missed just a nose at Newbury last month. She is getting better with experience and under positive tactics again could take plenty of catching. Rossa Ryan gets the leg up and she looks to have plenty going for her.
15:55 Sandown
That was a big run from OWN ACCORD at Hamilton last month. She was beaten less than a length and off the same mark dropping back to a mile I think she could go close. She has cheekpieces on now and has only had four starts in handicaps so could easily improve again and be a big player in this.
16:40 Yarmouth
New Approach filly OVERTURE has gone from strength to strength since moving up in trip and with more to come again I think she could be capable of extending the winning sequence.
She has gone up 11lb so this won’t be easy as this is a tougher grade too but I get the feeling she could be pretty useful and is worth keeping safe.
16:53 Beverley
Beverley 4.53 Fox Avatar (6/4)
There was plenty of promise in that debut run from FOX AVATAR at Salisbury last month. This son of Frankel was beaten just over 3 lengths into third.
He should be a lot sharper this time around and he is well placed to get off the mark. Bated Breath filly Ever Hopefull has more to come and looks the obvious danger.
