There were plenty of positives to be taken from KOULIKORO's debut second at Nottingham in June and she looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open her account. Although a 96-day absence is a little concerning, Adam West's filly should prove tough to beat if returning in the same form. The biggest threat may emerge from Thecla, who is heading in the right direction judged on her latest runner-up effort at Carlisle. Misty Sky looks best of the rest.

Chester didn't play to INVINCIBLE ANNICE's strengths last time and she can put that fourth-placed defeat behind her. Karl Burke's charge scored over track and trip on her penultimate outing and compensation could await. The Dragon King warrants respect dropping in class/distance and he is unlikely to be far away at this level, while it will be interesting to see if Music History can build on her encouraging seventh in Listed company.

The step up to this distance has really helped PAPAGEI. James Ferguson's three-year-old landed a double when successful at Haydock latest and a 4lb rise may not be enough to anchor him. Tafsir has already won four times this year, with the booking of Paul Mulrennan suggesting she is preferred to stablemate Soowaih, while the consistent Minstrel Knight should give another good account.

Keldeo resumed winning ways at Catterick and should have the measure of the fourth-placed Midnight Lir once again despite a 3lb rise. Strong Johnson has a shout returning to this lower grade, but LADY CELIA gets the nod. She has had a couple of outings on the all-weather since beating a subsequent winner over course and distance back in July and Alan Brown's inmate is preferred on the strength of that form.

However, GUNDOGAN is narrowly preferred . Ed Bethell's charge fairly bolted up in first-time blinkers (retained) on his penultimate start over 6f at Carlisle, before shaping like he was still in good nick when faring best of those held up off the pace in a Leicester handicap most recently. A 3lb rise for a recent C&D success doesn't discount Game Breaker either.

She showed up well for a long way before fading into sixth, having raced keenly in the early stages, over 7f at Haydock recently and, dropping back to 6f off 2lb lower, this could be the time to catch her. Many A Year wasn't seen to best effect when finishing fourth over 6f at Wolverhampton latest but is considered eased 2lb, while Rain Cap is noted too.
