This is a tricky opener but a bold bid is expected from AUTUMN ROSE, who drops in class and 1lb in the handicap after respectable effort in the mud at Chester. Tony Carroll's filly is only 2lb higher than when winning at Haydock in July and she is narrowly preferred to Obee Jo, who over over this C&D off 2lb lower earlier year, and Asmund. The latter scored over 6f here in July and also has winning form over this trip.
Prediction : 1st Autumn Rose 2nd Obee Jo 3rd Asmund

Archie Watson won this race in 2018 and he has strong claims here with nursery debutant FORTELEZA, who has improved with each of her three qualifying runs and looks feasibly treated off 68 judged on her one-length third at Wolverhampton last time. Piranha Rama failed to cope with her revised mark when bidding for a Windsor double and she has gone up anther 1lb since, so a bigger threat may be posed by Cristalino. The latter weakened into fifth on her first handicap outing over 7f at Wolverhampton, so should appreciate the return to 6f.
Prediction : 1st Forteleza 2nd Cristalino 3rd Piranha Rama

With no form to go on, the market can prove informative to the chances of these newcomers, but it could pay to focus on the Godolphin-owned duo of Palmarian and MUSIC OF TIME. The latter's dam was placed in a Group 3 as a juvenile and Charlie Appleby has a good strike-rate with his runners at this venue in recent years. So does the Gosden yard, though, and their Palmarian is related to plenty of winners. Fort Campbell cost $210,000 as a yearling and he is also of serious interest.
Prediction : 1st Music Of Time 2nd Palmarian 3rd Fort Campbell

STYLE OF LIFE made every yard of the running to score in this grade at Thirsk last week and she looked to have plenty in hand on that occasion. Harriet Bethell's four-year-old can carry her penalty to success, with her main threat possibly being Ardbraccan, who has hit the crossbar the last twice and should go well off the same mark as her most recent effort at Sandown. Of the remainder, Groovy Baby makes the most appeal with Oisin Murphy booked.
Prediction : 1st Style Of Life 2nd Ardbraccan 3rd Groovy Baby

ANGLE LAND outran her big odds when occupying the runner-up berth in a tougher contest than this at Yarmouth six days ago and she competes off an unchanged mark. If the daughter of Mayson can run to a similar level, she could prove tough to beat. Last Outlaw wasn't disgraced on his handicap bow when finishing a close-up third at Windsor earlier in the month and he could have a say, while The Defiant is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Angle Land 2nd Last Outlaw 3rd The Defiant

Kitty Furnival has strong claims on her neck second over this C&D in May, but she has been a disappointing favourite on both starts since and preference is for LADY LA FAY. Karl Burke's filly has been threatening to score in decent maiden company and should be suited by dropping back to 1m2f. Lasting Love chased home a smart-looking newcomer at Goodwood last time but she isn't certain to act on this much quicker forecast ground.
Prediction : 1st Lady La Fay 2nd Kitty Furnival 3rd Lasting Love

HARRY'S HALO gained reward for a couple of near-misses when scoring over this trip at Windsor last week and, escaping a penalty for that apprentices' handicap success, Kevin Frost's gelding looks set for a bold double bid. Fiscal Policy is also allowed to race off the same mark following his Pontefract success on Thursday and the Ruth Carr inmate has been in fine form of late. Honour Your Dreams only found one too good when bidding for a double at Lingfield latest and he should play another leading role off the same mark.
Prediction : 1st Harrys Halo 2nd Honour Your Dreams 3rd Fiscal Policy
