Joe Norris from GYTO Tuesday Stat Bet and Lucky 15 tips for today’s horse racing.
17:30 Listowel
This is going to take some getting and ROSSO hit the line like a dour stayer when getting off the mark at Roscommon at the start of the month. That was over a mile and a half and in testing ground but he certainly wasn’t stopping at the line suggesting this step up in trip is only going to play to his strengths. He has only had 4 starts so is open to further improvement now handicapping and it is no surprise to see him top the betting.
William Hill
- Solid in-play betting service
- Cash-in option to help increase profitability
- Excellent reputation within the UK betting-industry
Joseph O’Brien has already had 8 horses win on handicap debut this season and 25 place so is not a trainer to oppose when pitching them into a handicap and an opening mark of 84 should be workable especially as his stamina is drawn out further.

- Pull Again Green – Warwick 3.30
- Lady O - Listowel 4.20
- Captain Corelli - Beverley 4.30
- Indy’s Angel - Newcastle 6.30
Warwick 3.30 Pull Again Green (4/1)
I feel like Get Up Mush is opposable here as I don’t think he is screaming out for this trip. He is short enough anyway and PULL AGAIN GREEN looks a good bit of value. He is still quite lightly raced over fences and was back to form when third behind Kinondo Kwetu at Worcester last month. If he builds on that then he should be going close against these. I actually think Presentandcounting could put up the most resistance.
Listowel 4.20 Lady O (3/1)
I feel like LADY O should be favourite for this. She improved to get back to winning ways at Galway last month and did that quite impressively making virtually all the running. She was eased in the closing stages so was much the best. The step back up to a mile will suit and freshened up she has plenty going for her again. Medici Venus was denied just a short head latest and looks the most immediate threat.
Beverley 4.30 Captain Corelli (11/4)
I’m confident CAPTAIN CORELLI can extend the winning sequence here. He is really thriving having won his last 3 and showed a good attitude to prevail at Redcar last week. That was an apprentice event so he is unpenalised and if he handles the drop back to 7f then I think he can win again. Capital Guarantee failed to land the gamble at Thirsk last time but was only beaten a length so could be the danger despite going back up in class.
Newcastle 6.30 Indy’s Angel (4/1)
After just four starts the best is yet to come with INDY’S ANGEL and I think this looks a good opening for her. She finished an encouraging fifth on handicap debut at Southwell at the start of the month and she was beaten less than 2 lengths. She is down 1lb and should keep improving as she gains experience. Monticristo Boy shaped well in front of the selection at Southwell so is the danger but was only third at Musselburgh last time so needs to get back on the up to confirm those placings.
