This looks a wide open nursery but I’m keen to take a chance on BORN TOO RUN now handicapping. She has been sent off 15/2, 100/1 and 200/1 so far so I think the plan has always been to come down this route and being by Too Darn Hot a mark of just 52 should surely prove lenient? 

The step back up to a mile should be in her favour and I’m surprised she is as big as 14/1 in the betting - hopefully she gets backed as that would be encouraging.

Trainer Ed Dunlop has done well with these types this year too with four winners and 12 placed efforts from just 39 runners so he is profitable to follow so the 10/3 to place alone looks a great bet.

Perth 2.28 Bowling Buddy (7/4)

After needing the run on debut under Rules BOWLING BUDDY improved to win readily at Cartmel last month. He was quite impressive with how he went clear and he hit the line five lengths to the good.

He is open to further improvement with that under his belt and looks to have found a good opportunity to follow up. 

He is armed with quite a lot of potential today and going forward. Cuban Cigar knocked on the door beaten less than a length last time and could be the one to give him most to think about.

Redcar 4.32 True Wisdom (7/4)

That was a massive run from TRUE WISDOM to go down just a neck to the progressive See That Storm over C&D last week. If she builds on that racing off the same mark against these then she should get herself back in the winners enclosure. 

She is still unexposed over this trip so looks one to keep on side at this level. Titainium failed to back up that win at this track last month when only fourth at Newcastle but could still be the danger returning to this venue.

Kempton 5.00 Special Ghaiyyath (2/1)

Despite having not shown a great deal on debut at Newcastle SPECIAL GHAIYYATH improved tons to chase home Shrimp Shady at Windsor at the start of the month. If he builds on that again then he should have a great chance to go one better. 

I think that Windsor form is decent so it’s going to take a good one to stop him getting off the mark. Sea Founder was fifth in that race but ran on strongly so with that under his belt looks to be the most obvious danger.

Goodwood 5.15 Coco Royale (13/8)

oFrankel filly COCO ROYALE has now won three of her last four and was firmly in command at Kempton last time scoring by three and a half lengths. 

She has understandably gone up 7lb for that but you couldn’t rule out further progression and I can see her following up against these. 

On first glance the small field might go against her but Plus Point looks sure to go forward so she should have a decent target to run down. Crystal Flyer won here last time and is the biggest threat.
