KING OF LIGHT arrives here 8lb well-in following his fourth in a Listed contest at Ayr last Friday. The only question mark for the son of Mehmas would be the ground, but his dam is a half-sister to a Group 3 winner on a soft surface which offers hope that conditions are unlikely to inconvenience him. Nad Alshiba Green has won twice in nursery company and may well have more to offer, while dropping in class will help Francisco's Piece.

SAM HAWKENS wasn't at all disgraced when fourth at the Shergar Cup last month and the son of Galileo makes plenty of appeal with underfoot conditions promising to suit him. Calvert and Minstrel Knight appeal most of the remainder.

The application of first-time cheekpieces worked the oracle for the son of Advertise at Musselburgh and he looks capable of shrugging off a 7lb rise. Yanifer is also noted dropping in class.
