After showing next to nothing on her first two starts Camelot filly CARRIED WITH LOVE ran a big race in defeat to finish third at Down Royal last month. She did all her best work late on suggesting this step up to a mile will suit and now handicapping could easily take a big step forward.

Couple that with the fact her trainer Joseph O’Brien has had a good year with handicap debutants with 10 winners and 27 placed efforts from 68 runners. The 5/1 looks worth snapping up and even 11/10 about her hitting the frame is a good bet as well.

  • Quatrain – Killarney 2.20
  • Post Chaise - Stratford 3.52
  • Bracklesham Bay - Yarmouth 4.00
  • Fearless Bay - Wolverhampton 7.30

Killarney 2.20 Quatrain (3/1)

Vadali has had a few chances already so I’m surprised QUATRAIN isn’t favourite. This Mastercraftsman filly shaped with plenty of promise on her first two starts before blowing out at Naas. She was very much back on track when third to Dublin at Listowel and if she builds on that again I expect her to open her account now. Of the rest Ata Rangi has still potential and is another one to note.

Stratford 3.52 Post Chaise (3/1)

With 2 wins from his last 3 POST CHAISE is on a real roll and might still be capable of defying a further 5lb rise. He has been given time since that Market Rasen win and with Toby Wynne booked taking off a handy 3lb it negates some of the rise. If he is ready to roll I think he’ll beat these. Ballycamus also lacks a run but had good form over fences last season so looks the danger.

Yarmouth 4.00 Bracklesham Bay (5/2)

Liberatus just about prevailed at Hamilton last month and while he looks promising I probably wouldn’t have him as short as he is here to follow up. I prefer the hat-trick seeking BRACKLESHAM BAY who has come into his own recently. He could progress again for the step up in trip and may well be capable of defying an 8lb rise. Stormy Monday looks a longer term project but interested to see how he runs.

Wolverhampton 7.30 Fearless Bay (5/2)

Even with another 6lb rise FEARLESS BAY might still be the one to beat. He did it easily at Southwell last month and the runner-up Genesius has run well behind Bittalemon at Catterick since so in my eyes the form has been boosted somewhat. Diamond Ranger finally got back to winning ways under Saffie Osborne at Windsor last month and looks one of the dangers. Way Of Life has won over C&D in the past and is also respected.
