Steve Ryder has picked out four horse racing tips for Wednesday’s horse racing and lined up another selection for tomorrow’s card at the Chelmsford.
15:28 Sedgefield
Jet Of Dreams 2/1 (1pt)
Clean Getaway only has a 1lb swing in the weights with JET OF DREAMS (best priced at 2/1) from when they met over this course and distance in September and the Warren Greatrex trained six-year-old is expected to confirm that form.
The selection was following up a Hereford victory when beating Clean Getaway by 2 ½ lengths under James Bowen and the handicapper has only raised him 4lbs for that success.
Clean Getaway went on to finish a neck 2nd at Southwell less than a week ago so this is a quick turnaround and the handicapper has also raised him 3lbs for that run. The other two dangers Good Lord and Treaty Boy are making their reappearances from over 200 days off the track so with race-fitness on his side, Jet Of Dreams is expected to prove hard to beat.
16:12 Kempton
Darkzideofthemoon 15/2 (0.5pt ew)
The booking of David Egan aboard the John Butler trained DARKZIDEOFTHEMOON (best priced at 15/2) catches the eye and he is expected to reward punters who keep the faith. The four-year-old has run his best two races at Kempton in his career with form figures of 22 including when only beaten a neck a month ago off a mark of 59.
Darkzideofthemoon was sent off 15/8 to win at Wolverhampton last time but he once again struggled on a left-handed track and this return to Kempton will no doubt suit him well. David Egan shows a 13% strike rate for the yard with a +16.38pt profit to a £1 level stake in his career and Darkzideofthemoon looks sure to run well with four places widely available.
18:45 Kempton
Beauty Generation 6/1 (0.5pt ew)
The Marco Botti trained BEAUTY GENERATION (best priced at 6/1) has placed on all three of his handicap runs over this course and distance and he could record his second career victory in a first-time visor. The three-year-old finished a neck 2nd in March off a mark of 70 before finishing 2nd by 1 ½ lengths later that month off a mark of 73.
Beauty Generation was 3rd beaten two lengths last time off a mark of 69 and he now runs here off a career low mark of 68. Connections now fit him with a first time visor and they have also booked Hollie Doyle for the ride who has a fantastic record for yard operating at a 17% strike rate and a +23.21pt profit from a £1 level stake in her career. He looks sure to run well with up to five places available.
20:15 Kempton
Tronido 7/1 (0.5pt ew)
Bottom weight TRONIDO (best priced at 7/1) is 2/2 in AW handicaps and she could prove even better suited by this trip of 6f. The Simon Dow trained filly defied odds of 40/1 to make a winning handicap debut at Lingfield in June before winning over 7f at Kempton off a mark of 62 later that month. On both occasions she made all over 7f shaping like this drop back in trip to 6f should suit.
Tronido has placed on her three turf starts since at Newmarket and twice at Sandown but her running style is much better suited to the AW. She has been dropped 1lb down to a mark of 68 and she looks sure to run well with four places on offer.

Horse Racing Tips Tomorrrow
Thursday 5:45 Chelmsford- Gifted Angel 11/8 (1pt)
This looks to be a three-horse race between Wannabe Brave, Beggarman and GIFTED ANGEL (forecast to be priced at 11/8) with preference going to the latter who is 3lbs “well in” under a 5lb penalty.
The four-year-old had dropped down from a mark of 72 on the flat to 67 for Tom Dascombe before making a winning stable debut for Jack Jones despite only being with him for less than a month.
The 3 ¾ length winning distance doesn’t even tell the whole story of the race though as Gifted Angel lost around five lengths at the start before staying on strongly over a trip of 1m4f.
His only previous victories had come over hurdles so this trip of 1m6f should suit him better and he is expected to prove hard to beat with Dylan Hogan retaining the ride.
