I’m not surprised to see SWEET THING a warm order for this as she was only denied half a length on debut at Down Royal and with natural improvement should be capable of opening her account now.
She is the most unexposed horse in the field and I don’t think this will take a huge amount of winning hence her price in the market. Ukiyo wasn’t given a hard time when held at the Curragh but has more to come so looks the danger.

Sedgefield 2.28 Chemical Warfare (7/4)
Great chance for CHEMICAL WARFARE to follow up that C&D win last month. He did that well despite lacking fluency so if jumping better should have too much for these.
He is 4lb higher but is unexposed over this trip so as his stamina is drawn out further we should see an even better performance. Whataboutyeh shaped well behind the selection on reappearance and is the threat if building on that.

Nottingham 3.45 Lazieelunch (9/2)
The strong travelling LAZIEELUNCH has gone from strength to strength in handicaps bringing up the hat-trick at Wolverhampton last month. That form has already been franked and he still looks capable of better so the 5lb rise doesn’t concern me.
Obviously he needs to prove he can do it on turf but with the ground testing I think that will suit and I’m surprised he has drifted out to 9/2. Manila Thriller goes up in trip and might be the danger.

Ludlow 4.05 Olivers Travels (2/1)
This looks a straight shootout between the top pair in the betting and OLIVERS TRAVELS gets the vote at a slightly bigger price. He was denied the hat-trick at Perth last month but went down gamely by just half a length and that form has already been given a boost.
He likely has more to come and in my eyes with just the one horse to beat can make it three wins from his last four starts. La Renommee is the obvious threat back over fences here.
