THE BLAGGARD didn't look the most straight forward of horses when soundly beaten on his first two starts before attracting the attention of the stewards when putting in a much improved display at Listowel last month, staying on well into fourth behind stablemate Kingdom Calling. Polly Poppins has shown promise when racing keenly on all three outings including when finding no extra from two out over C&D last month and looks capable of winning over hurdles if learning to settle. Point-to-point winner Shantou Princess is another to consider while Finnicky Filly would be a threat if recapturing the form of her fourth at Tipperary back in May.Prediction : 1st The Blaggard 2nd Polly Poppins 3rd Shantou Princess

MAGGIE WALSH gets the vote having won twice over hurdles already this year including over C&D in June. She subsequently ran well off this rating at Kilbeggan and takes a drop in class after finishing in rear behind Lot Of Joy at Gowran. Hollow Spark makes a quick reappearance under a 7lb penalty after opening her account at Gowran last Friday but is not the most consistent of performers and this softer ground is a concern. Stablemate Thefaithfulindian is best with plenty of cut while Rene Artois was absent for a year before a couple of recent outings and showed promise in a similar event at Gowran last week. She's On Line was also far from disgraced recently at Killarney.Prediction : 1st Maggie Walsh 2nd Hollow Spark 3rd Rene Artois

SAVANTE looked a useful mare when landing a Punchestown bumper on debut in June. The form of that race has received a number of boosts recently with the third, Aruntothequeen, landing a Listed bumper at Gowran last week and the fourth (Sansrisk) easily winning a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse on Monday. She subsequently disappointed at Killarney but hopefully can bounce back switching to hurdles. Cool Park rates an obvious threat and may have found 3m too far when third to World Of Fortunes (won again since) at Wexford in August, while Love Like This has plenty of experience over hurdles and was placed again at Killarney last Sunday.Prediction : 1st Savante 2nd Cool Park 3rd Love Like This

TA NA LA was placed numerous times both on the Flat and over hurdles before scoring in good style over this trip at Bellewstown. The Ted Walsh-trained mare again advertised her claims when finishing strongly over an inadequate 2m here last month. Rampere West rates a threat having won over 2m4f at Wexford, while Loup De Tallane beat Beechroad Winnie by eight lengths over a similar trip at Kilbeggan last month but exited at the first subsequently over fences at Listowel. Reflectionist easily won twice over 2m3f last year but was then absent for 14 months until soundly beaten at the Galway Festival.Prediction : 1st Ta Na La 2nd Rampere West 3rd Loup De Tallane

PRINCE OF AIR has gained both career wins at Tramore including over C&D this spring and has been generally consistent since. The selection beat all bar Must Be Dreaming here last time, while Itsalonglongroad is another well suited by this tight circuit winning here four times and is certainly at his best going right-handed. Lake Chad has won twice here over fences, but both came over longer trips including an easy victory over 2m6f in August. Rusheen won a 2m4f hurdle on testing ground at Fairyhouse last winter and it will be interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour switching to fences on his reappearance.Prediction : 1st Prince Of Air 2nd Itsalonglongroad 3rd Lake Chad

BIGIRA had Doyen For A Drink (won last time at Cartmel) over five lengths behind when taking a 3m handicap hurdle at Wexford this summer and has shown promise when switched to fences on her latest two starts. She also has the benefit of course experience having been fourth to The Friday Man over 2m7f last month. Jouster and Tuckmill have both won handicap hurdles off a mark of 94 this year and the latter was only caught close home last time on his chase debut at Downpatrick. Ballybrack Wood was second on his only point-to-point start and has also shown some promise over hurdles.Prediction : 1st Bigira 2nd Tuckmill 3rd Jouster

AMBOYNA appears to have found a good opportunity to open her account. The daughter of Mount Nelson has been placed on the latest three of her four bumper starts and handled soft ground at Listowel last time when third behind fancied newcomer Amen Kate. San Franco looks the chief threat with Jody Townend a significant booking. He was set to finish second behind the useful Zariygann when a last flight faller at Roscommon and has also shown promise in bumpers including when third at Ballinrobe. The remainder with form make limited appeal and any market move for newcomer Kared'as De Cougny would be interesting.Prediction : 1st Amboyna 2nd San Franco 3rd Karedas De Cougny
