Otago won over this course and distance on his penultimate start off a mark of 58 on soft ground before slightly disappointing last time back on good ground under a 5lb penalty. Dropped back down to a mark of 60 (1lb lower than last year), he should prove hard to beat back on soft ground.

Twitch was disappointing when a beaten favourite here on Saturday but he still looks the biggest danger to LOCAL MUSIC (best priced at 13/8) who should prove hard to beat off top weight. The Matt Crawley trained four-year-old was an impressive 3 ¾ length winner over this course and distance a week ago off a mark of 86 and the handicapper has raised her 9lbs for that victory.

Local Music instead runs here under a 5lb penalty so she is 4lbs “well in” at the weights and she should be able to make it four wins out of her previous five starts on the AW.
