We know MINT GOLD can fire fresh as he defied a monster 907-day absence to win at Musselburgh last year. He has only run 3 times since and fell at Newcastle so only completed two of those. He bumped into Beau Balko at Musselburgh and then Gunsight Ridge at Perth. He should still have more to offer off a mark of 121 and should go close. Damarta has some decent form in the book over hurdles and if taking to fences could be the danger.

I thought GETUPEARLY travelled through the race like the winner before finding Touchwoodexpress too strong at Huntingdon last time. He has been in good form as bumped into the progressive Instant Gambler at Fontwell before that. He is still lightly raced over fences so if improving again should get his head in front now. School For Scandal has been coming back down the weights and missed just a short head latest so looks the danger.
Chelmsford 6.45 Local Music (13/8)
The way LOCAL MUSIC won over C&D last time was impressive and she has now won 3 of her last 5 starts. She has run at this track four times winning three of them so no surprise to see her kept to this venue turned out quickly under a penalty. If in the same form she will be difficult to beat. How Impressive has knocked on the door the last twice and only missed a head last time so will be the danger if in that sort of form again.
Southwell 8.30 Caramay (3/1)
Good looking grey filly CARAMAY was back to form with a bang winning readily at Wolverhampton last month. The clock backed up that visual impression too so I think she can defy a 4lb rise. The step back up in trip should suit and she has plenty going for her. Olympicus was well backed before easing back out late last time and might run better here than he did the last day. Of the rest Lednikov is another one who could get competitive.
