WEST ACRE made an eye-catching winning debut at Newcastle last month before posting a respectable second-placed finish over 6f under a penalty at Kempton 22 days ago. With those experiences to draw upon, further success is attainable with Liam Wright's 5lb claim a notable asset on these terms. Hamilton winner Thecla can also go well if, like the selection, she copes with dropping back to the minimum trip. Elland Road Girl is open to progression but needs to march on from what she has shown so far.
Prediction : 1st West Acre 2nd Thecla 3rd Elland Road Girl

RESERVARDO is best treated at these weights and, despite a slightly disappointing effort on soft ground at Sandown last time, the son of Profitable rates the one to beat. There should also be more to come from Kalahari Blue, who seems to be getting better with each start and rates a key player after her near-miss at Nottingham most recently. Target Man is another appealing option cutting back in trip.
Prediction : 1st Reservardo 2nd Kalahari Blue 3rd Target Man

MEHMO is an attractive proposition from just 4lb above his last winning mark on turf. The Michael Appleby-trained six-year-old has won off higher in the past and his proven C&D effectiveness could be key. Havechatma won over track and trip 16 days ago and is also feasibly treated off just 4lb higher. Exceed is a further interesting option with cheekpieces tried for just the second time, while Howzak shouldn't be underestimated either.
Prediction : 1st Mehmo 2nd Havechatma 3rd Exceed

There are a few interesting newcomers here, Yamarhaba Malayeen and Mdawi to name a couple, but experience may come to the fore. Plenty went wrong for EPIMETEO on debut at Brighton and he did remarkably well to finish third. That experience won't have been lost on the son of Time Test and he makes slightly more appeal than Flagon Dry and Bulletin, who have both performed well on Wolverhampton's Tapeta surface.
Prediction : 1st Epimeteo 2nd Flagon Dry 3rd Bulletin

It would come as no surprise if Kaleidoscope Eyes improves for a stable switch, while Cassandraalexandra needs to prove herself on the all-weather but has every chance on her best turf form. Lift Lady also looks to have a squeak equipped with first-time cheekpieces, but RUBY RASCAL gets the nod. Joseph Parr's filly produced her best effort yet when half-a-length second at Chelmsford most recently and a similar level of performance could see her get off the mark.
Prediction : 1st Ruby Rascal 2nd Kaleidoscope Eyes 3rd Cassandraalexandra

HOW IMPRESSIVE was pretty impressive when scoring over this trip at Chelmsford last week and, with Joe Leavy's claim cancelling out part of the 5lb penalty, he could take some stopping in his bid to follow up. Cancan In The Rain has struck the crossbar on his last couple of starts and is likely to be in the shake-up once again, while Finbar's Lad also merits consideration.
Prediction : 1st How Impressive 2nd Cancan In The Rain 3rd Finbars Lad

The application of blinkers and return to the all-weather helped Ravenglass arrest a downward spiral at Wolverhampton last week, although the form may not amount to much. He still warrants consideration, while True Blue Gent and Autumn Angel each served notice their turn could be near with placed efforts at Kempton and Bath respectively. The penny appears to be dropping for Emerald Army but another chance is given to AJRAD, who could never get competitive at Windsor but had previously made a fine start to life with Rod Millman.
Prediction : 1st Ajrad 2nd Ravenglass 3rd True Blue Gent

It isn't that surprising William Haggas has decided to drop TRIUMPH OF PEACE back to 6f because she showed plenty of pace when breaking her duck at Salisbury. Kept to 7f for her handicap debut at Thirsk, she had to settle for third but the winner has since given the form a boost by holding her own in Listed company. A lot better was expected from El Bufalo at Wolverhampton and there will be supporters who keep the faith, especially now he steps up from 5f. Justcallmepete, True Promise and Rock Opera are also considered.
Prediction : 1st Triumph Of Peace 2nd El Bufalo 3rd Justcallmepete

EARLY MORNING DEW took two runs following a lengthy absence to get back in the swing of things but he has won twice since August, most recently justifying favouritism at Chelmsford last week. He is 1lb below his revised figure under his penalty and can take advantage. Tees George swatted aside his Beverley rivals with ease and Hollie Doyle keeps the partnership intact. Sarmiento Power is interesting back on the all-weather, with fellow Newmarket raiders Royal Praise and Francesi in with a shout too.
Prediction : 1st Early Morning Dew 2nd Tees George 3rd Sarmiento Power
