Joe Norris from GYTO Saturday Stat Bet and Lucky 15 tips for today’s horse racing.
13:25 Newbury
I can see ROCK HUNTER being a lot shorter than 7/1 come post time. This son of Expert Eye was third behind Bob Mali at Salisbury last time very much catching the eye. He has plenty of experience on side and now sent handicapping off a mark of just 80 could easily take another step forward.
Netbet UK
His trainer Amy Murphy has done well with these types this year saddling 3 winners and 9 placed efforts from 35 runners which has turned over a decent profit. I think he’ll be backed so have also taken the 13/8 to hit the frame as well.

Lucky 15 Tips Today
Today’s Lucky 15 from Joe Norris at GYTO pays 140/1 at the time of posting – a £1 Lucky 15 would return £420 from a £15 outlay.
- Millforce – Cheltenham 1.45
- Yaroogh - Newbury 3.10
- Apple Away - Kelso 3.55
- Hgranca De Thaix - Galway 4.13
Cheltenham 1.45 Millforce (2/1)
That was a convincing success from MILLFORCE at Bellewstown on debut under Rules and he looked a bit unlucky not to make it 2-2 when beaten just a short head at Cork when last seen. He can jump better than that and has potential to do better so could easily get back on track here. Intense Approach bumped into Flying Fortune in the Persian War and looks the obvious danger.
Newbury 3.10 Yaroogh (11/4)
Dubawi colt YAROOGH has really come into his own and has now won 4 of his last 5 starts. He was impressive up to Listed company in France last time and with further improvement expected I think he can go in again and complete the hat-trick. Benevento has won 2 from 3 and impressed winning last time and that form looks decent so he looks the biggest threat.
Kelso 3.55 Apple Away (11/4)
The loveable APPLE AWAY was firmly back on track bolting up at Perth on final start. It was a mixed season but she is clearly well treated on handicap debut and should prove hard to beat here. She has a relentless way of going and is worth keeping on side against these with this trip sure to play to her strengths. La Renommee impressed winning at Ludlow but has gone up 10lb so that makes life tougher.
Galway 4.13 Hgranca De Thaix (9/4)
It is interesting they have come back over hurdles with HGRANCA DE THAIX as he won his last two over fences. He is off a lower mark though and should win this before going back chasing. He is a useful horse under both disciplines and is expected to take a lot of beating. Four Clean Aces has the form to be a player and has race fitness on side. Coole Cherry is another one who could get involved.
