Joe Norris from GYTO Sunday Stat Bet and Lucky 15 tips for today’s horse racing.
16:00 Wexford
The money came for MAKE THE PLAN at Killarney on final start and despite completely fluffing his lines on that occasion he definitely catches the eye on reappearance here. We haven’t seen him for some 532 days now so fitness and wellbeing is taken on trust but handicapping for the first time off a mark of 102 he could go close.
William Hill
- Solid in-play betting service
- Cash-in option to help increase profitability
- Excellent reputation within the UK betting-industry
Trainer Oliver McKiernan has had a winner and 3 placed efforts from just 7 runners on handicap debut this year so they look like they are worth following and 12/1 seems a big price as does the 5/2 to hit the frame in what looks a winnable race on paper.

Lucky 15 Tips Today
Today’s Lucky 15 from Joe Norris at GYTO pays 500/1 at the time of posting – a £1 Lucky 15 would return £1,200 from a £15 outlay.
- Goodwin – Aintree 1.15
- Search For Glory - Galway 1.30
- Popova - Wexford 1.42
- Quick Draw - Wincanton 3.15
Aintree 1.15 Goodwin (5/1)
This is wide open but if GOODWIN takes to fences at the first time of asking he certainly has the ability to go close. He was progressive over hurdles and that form beating Cannock Park at Newbury on final start looks decent. Imperial Saint also has potential in this sphere and looks the one to give him most to think about.
Galway 1.30 Search For Glory (9/4)
Another horse going over fences for the first time SEARCH FOR GLORY could be one to follow this season. He can race a bit lazily but hopefully he gives these larger obstacles more respect and he could thrive in this discipline. Sa Majeste is another one likely suited by the switch to fences so is the threat.
Wexford 1.42 Popova (5/1)
Another open race and POPOVA looks decent value at 5/1. She goes well fresh and showed that making a winning start over fences at Tipperary back in July. Given time since running below par at Killarney I can see her getting back on track. Music Of Tara can do better and tops the betting and does look the biggest danger
Wincanton 3.15 Quick Draw (10/3)
I know QUICK DRAW has been a bit hit and miss and he was pulled up when last seen at Kempton back in May. His win at this track before that was impressive though and back at this venue he could easily bounce back as he is proven fresh too. Credo has a likeable way of going and she looks the main threat.
