Joe Norris from GYTO Monday Stat Bet and Lucky 15 tips for today’s horse racing.

Good looking chestnut filly TWO B TANNED failed to show much on her first two starts which is probably why she was sent off 100/1 at Windsor. She showed much more on that occasion though running well to finish third. She shaped as though she’d improve plenty stretching out in trip now and off an opening mark of just 56 sent handicapping for the first time she looks the one to beat.

Her trainer George Scott has done well with these types too saddling 4 winners and 8 placed efforts from just 26 runners this year so I have taken the 7/2 and also the 11/10 to hit the frame.

- Camp Belan – Ayr 12.47
- Corbetts Cross - Wexford 3.20
- Water Of Leith - Newcastle 5.45
- Belcamo - Southwell 8.00
Ayr 12.47 Camp Belan (9/4)
Not a great deal between these but it might pay to side with CAMP BELAN who was in good form when last seen. He cashed in off a reduced mark over C&D and then went down just a head at Hexham before running creditably at Carlisle. He’ll likely be ridden forward here and could prove tough to peg back as he is a strong stayer over this trip. Crixus’s Escape could be the danger but does usually need his first run back.
Wexford 3.20 Corbetts Cross (15/8)
I’m looking forward to seeing CORBETTS CROSS back out. He seemed to need the run on reappearance last year but he has won fresh before and I think he’ll be ready to go this time around. He hacked up at the Cheltenham Festival and then ran right up to form when third to Gerri Colombe at Aintree. This looks a good starting point and he is worth chancing. Buddy One impressed at Galway and has race-fitness on side so looks the danger.
Newcastle 5.45 Water Of Leith (7/2)
With 2 wins from his last 4 starts WATER OF LEITH arrives here at the top of his game. I thought he did well to win at Ayr last month and up just 4lb should have a good chance to follow up. He’ll be ridden quietly so will need some luck when coming through but is definitely the most likeliest winner. Nelson Gay has been freshened up and could emerge as the danger. Herakles is another one I expect to get competitive.
Southwell 8.00 Belcamo (7/2)
That was a career best from BELCAMO to win on handicap debut at Goodwood when last seen. He has since changed yards but could easily be capable of better again so a 3lb higher mark looks manageable. He is unexposed over this sort of trip and this could be a good opportunity to follow up. Versatile wasn’t beaten far at Kempton last month and should be the one to give him most to think about.
