Joe Norris from GYTO Wednesday Stat Bet and Lucky 15 tips for today’s horse racing.

It might pay to look away from the top of the betting for this handicap hurdle. ROCKY’S GLORY definitely catches the eye now sent handicapping off a lenient looking mark. He shaped better than the bare result at Newton Abbot last time and dropping in trip here having been given time since could bounce back with a big run.

Trainer D J Jeffreys has done well with handicap debutants this year too saddling a winner and 2 placed efforts from just the 4 runners so the 6/1 may well prove to be a little overpriced. I have also covered the 5/4 to hit the frame with 3 places on offer.

Lucky 15 Tips Today
Today’s Lucky 15 from Joe Norris at GYTO pays 270/1 at the time of posting – a £1 Lucky 15 would return £720 from a £15 outlay.
- Grain D'oudairies – Fakenham 3.20
- Collusion - Nottingham 3.38
- Doyouknowwhatimean - Newton Abbot 4.00
- Wiltshire Wonder - Kempton 7.00
Fakenham 3.20 Grain D’oudairies (11/4)
This is a winnable race so GRAIN D’OUDAIRIES should go close. He ran out an impressive winner at Market Rasen on reappearance last season and off what still looks a workable mark he may well fire fresh again here. Fever Dream looked good winning at Perth back in the summer and despite getting beat twice since could still be the danger.
Nottingham 3.38 Collusion (2/1)
I thought COLLUSION looked a bit unlucky to get beat on handicap debut. He pulled hard throughout the race and in hindsight was sent for home too soon as he was only grabbed late by a deep closer in Hombre. He has been left off the same mark and dropping back down to the minimum trip should be able to make amends. Smooth Silesie is the main threat.
Newton Abbot 4.00 Doyouknowwhatimean (10/3)
Notebooks at the ready as this looks a decent handicap chase. With Dan Skelton in such good form I’m expecting DOYOUKNOWWHATIMEAN to go close. The penny seemed to drop towards the end of last season as he ran out an impressive winner at Lingfield and then followed up at Stratford. He arrives on a hat-trick now and you wouldn’t rule out further progress. Pachacuti is the obvious danger.
Kempton 7.00 Wiltshire Wonder (9/2)
The most unexposed horse in the field WILTSHIRE WONDER could take a bit of beating here. He showed a good attitude to stay on best and get off the mark at Southwell last time. That was his first start in handicap company and he remains unexposed over a mile and a half so a 4lb rise shouldn’t be enough to stop him. Touch The Moon likely has more to come and should give him most to think about.
