The biggest threat may emerge in the shape of Aria's Dream, who arrives on the back of a surprise close-up second over C&D. Nursery debutant Bella Fortunata is bred to be better than her opening mark and market support would be interesting.

Having disappointed on his last three appearances, Cash In has failed to build on a promising second at Ripon in early June and a change of surface will need to rejuvenate him, while Angel Of Mather's can only be watched after tailing off on debut at Catterick. This is likely to be fought out by last-time-out seconds Instant Bond and SAFANAH, with preference for the latter. Richard Fahey's filly has improved with each outing and her form looks a touch stronger.

KRISTAL KLEAR arrives having won two of her last four starts, finishing second in the other two. Both victories have come on the all-weather, at Southwell and Wolverhampton, and the four-year-old has been found an excellent opportunity to continue her rich vein of form. Keep Me Stable is 2lb higher than her last winning mark and may prove to be the strongest threat to the selection, although first-time blinkers could make a difference for Lincoln Legacy.

TANCREDI was no match for an odds-on shot when making his racecourse debut here just 10 days ago. However, that experience is unlikely to be lost on George Boughey's gelding and he gets the vote at the main expense of Sovereign Sea, who cost 200,000 euros at the Arqana May Breeze-Up sale in 2023. Stoneacre may get the better of Jolie Coeur Allen in the battle for third.

TOO MUCH was successful by just under two lengths over C&D and has been put up 7lb. David Thompson's four-year-old brings the best recent form to the table and looks the one to beat. Bellagio Man finished fourth in a tougher contest than this over track and trip on Tuesday and isn't dismissed off an unchanged rating, while Haworth Star is a player based on his victory at this venue two starts ago.

Volenti went in by a head over C&D last week and holds an obvious chance, despite his 5lb penalty. However, he might come out second best to WHATWOULDYOUKNOW, who showed a lot more when making the frame over track and trip and has been dropped 1lb. The nine-year-old is now 11lb lower than his last successful mark and can repeat his victory in this race of two years ago. Martin's Brig completes the shortlist.
