My angle in today is pinpointing a class dropper at a big price and GOLD CLERMONT certainly fits the bill in the lucky last at Warwick. She looked progressive winning over fences at Fakenham and Fontwell and ran as well as could have hoped in the Midlands Grand National on final start.

Back over hurdles and in much calmer waters down 3 classes (and off a much lower mark) she might just be able to surprise a few at around 18/1 in the betting. This isn’t a strong race and she’ll be ridden patiently before trying to get involved late on.
