Back GYTO's Lucky 15 tips for Friday 27th December covering the horse racing at Leopardstown, Chepstow, Kempton and Limerick.
12:35 Leopardstown
Friday's Lucky 15 from Joe Norris at GYTO was advised at 175/1 but has been cut to just over 100/1 – a £1 Lucky 15 at these odds would still return nearly £350 from a £15 outlay.
Let's get into the four selections...
I know we haven’t seen IT’S FOR ME (tipped at 7/4) for some 407 days but he looked promising winning on hurdles debut at Punchestown. He beat Caldwell Potter that day who we know is a useful horse. He has plenty more to come now sent over fences being a previous point to point winner and Mullins usually targets a good one at this having won 2 of the last 3 renewals. I can see him being hard to beat under Daryl Jacob.
13:05 Chepstow
After bumping into Jagwar at Bangor it was good to see LOWRY’S BAR (tipped at 3/1) get off the mark over fences at Exeter last time. He showed a good attitude to come out on top narrowly and the pair pulled clear of the third with the field well strung out. He can improve again and looks a good bet to follow up against these. Nocte Volatus bumped into Gemirande at Ascot so looks the danger off the back of that form.
15:08 Kempton
No surprise to see FRERO BANBOU top the betting for this. He won the Rehearsal at Newcastle last month and that form has already been well advertised since. He is 7lb higher but if in the same form again will take a lot of stopping under Charlie Deutsch.Golden Son should strip fitter and is capable on a going day so must be respected. Highstakesplayer should like the ground so is also noted.
15:11 Limerick
Great chance for MOUNT FERNS to get back in the winners enclosure. He impressed winning on debut for this yard at Listowel and then wasn’t disgraced at Cork. Freshened up again left off an unchanged mark with the yard flying he looks a danger to all. This is easier and it is no surprise to see him strong in the betting. Collaborative is unexposed and can improve further so looks the biggest threat.
