LIARI was a Listed winner over an extended 1m7f here back in February and although yet to add to that triumph, the Paul Nicholls-trained five-year-old was far from disgraced in the Gerry Feilden at Newbury last time and may be able to build on it now eased 1lb. Benson was never involved in the Fighting Fifth, but his mark continues to fall and he should not be underestimated as he goes for his third successive triumph in this race. Sweet Fantasy can chase the pair home.

Breizh River returns to handicap company with a shout based on his success at Kelso in October.

This extra test of stamina can bring further improvement from Lucinda Russell's unexposed hurdler and he is taken to defy a 6lb rise. Top Man Tom made all to score over C&D on his latest start and the six-year-old should have more to offer, while You Some Girl remains in fine form and can also have a say in proceedings.

Kingston Narcissus built on his earlier placed efforts when landing a maiden hurdle at Sedgefield and should prove competitive now handicapping for the first time.
