18:30 Kempton

Both jumps cards at Exeter and Leicester have unfortunately been abandoned on Wednesday 29th January but both Dundalk and Kempton provide flat meetings on the all-weather today.

Today’s Best Bets from Steve Ryder

With six early non-runners in this race, it looks a good opportunity for THE OUTLAW (best priced at 4/5) to continue his progression.

The Ralph Beckett trained three-year-old showed very little on his first three career starts before finishing 2nd on his handicap debut at Southwell behind Whizz By who was completing a hat-trick of wins.

The Outlaw overcame the poor draw of Stall 13 to win at Chelmsford last time off a mark of 61 and he is deserving of a 6lb rise for that 2 ¾ length success. The long straight at Kempton should suit and he is expected follow up in this race.

The Outlaw 4/5 (1pt)

19:00 Kempton

This looks a competitive 0-72 handicap but preference goes to MONOPOLISE (best priced at 5/2) who can record a fourth course success.

The Mark Loughnane trained gelding has shown improved from since the application of a tongue-tie with form figures of 12251.

Those two victories have both come at this track over a mile but he was also unlucky at Newcastle in December when 2nd by ¾ length over this distance of 7f.

Billy Loughnane, who rode a double yesterday, takes back over on board and he looks the one to beat from Stall 6.

Monopolise 5/2 (1pt)
