The six-year-old is a previous C&D winner and can capitalise on her appealing mark. The Real McKay is next best.

Quickly showed ability when reaching the frame on his debut over track and trip in December and he should mount a bold bid. However, TRANSPARENT gets the nod as he took a step forward from his debut second to justify short odds in good style at Kempton last month and could have plenty more to offer. Bouboule was fourth over C&D last time and he isn't ruled out either.

NORTHERN CRACKSMAN took advantage of a sliding mark when scoring over this trip at Newcastle last month and, upped 5lb, a repeat of that effort should put him bang there for his in-form stable. Runner-up over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton most recently, I Can't Believe is of renewed interest stepping back in trip off the same mark. Retraction is becoming attractively handicapped and he can also make his presence felt.

FRANKIES DREAM has only finished out of the first two once in six attempts since being fitted with a hood (retained). He looks the most solid proposition having readily showed his rivals a clean pair of heels over 6f at Newcastle on Saturday. He can make light of a 6lb penalty at the chief expense of Sunny Time, who was turned over at short odds at Chelmsford last month but he could bounce back off the same mark. Until Dawn is also respected.

DASH GORDON finished third over this trip at Lingfield last time out but was in winning form over this C&D prior to that and a prominent showing looks likely. If allowed his own way out in front, Stroxx could prove difficult to peg back having performed well off this mark when third in a similar event at Newcastle recently. Starshot is also noteworthy.

The recent Kempton scorer Stella Hogan appeals on overall form. However, her limitations were exposed when she failed to justify odds-on favouritism off this mark over 1m at the same venue most recently. Having never previously raced at Southwell, she could be worth taking on. EMBARKED, a C&D winner off 8lb higher, may represent a bit of value after hinting at a revival when cheekpieces were added here last week. Autumn Angel is also noted.

Recent form points towards another bold showing from PORTORO, who wasn't beaten far over C&D a fortnight ago and can make amends for that narrow defeat in a race that lacks strength in depth. Fistral Beach is closely matched with the selection based on their encounter over track and trip last month and is feared. Stoic Syd and Vixey are others to note.
