In a moderate event marginal preference is for HONEST DESIRE, who bounced back to form when fifth in a much stronger event over C&D two weeks ago. Off a 1lb lower mark, the son of Frankel is likely to go well against this level of opposition. Expert Choice was two places behind the selection on that occasion and is another with strong form claims. The former C&D winner Tahdeed should not be underestimated on his return to turf, while similar comments apply to Maplewood and Moonshiner. Prediction : 1st Honest Desire 2nd Expert Choice 3rd Tahdeed

It is hard to oppose HEART OF HONOR after his eye-catching second in the UAE 2000 Guineas a month ago. Jamie Osborne's colt looks set to relish this step up in trip on that evidence and he could prove to be a class above these rivals. Royal Favour has been a place behind the selection on both starts in the UAE and could chase him home once again. Although, Rafid may take a big step forward on his second start for Doug Watson and merits respect despite a poor draw. Prediction : 1st Heart Of Honor 2nd Royal Favour 3rd Rafid

Emperor's Star is bound to be popular after his promising third over slightly further here last month and it would be no surprise to see him go well off 3lb higher. Similar comments apply to the unbeaten Folk Festival following his defeat of a subsequent winner on his handicap bow two weeks ago and a 6lb rise may not stop another good performance. However, that pair are likely to be held up and with the rail out 12 metres that may not be ideal. As a result, preference is for TAMRAT, who showed promise behind Emperor's Star on his UAE debut in January and was an impressive winner when ridden more positively at Abu Dhabi last time. Prediction : 1st Tamrat 2nd Emperors Star 3rd Folk Festival

Queen Azteca clearly sets the standard following her defeat of most of this field in the Cocoa Beach Stakes over a mile here last month. However, she benefitted from an overly strong pace set by ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU on that occasion and it may be worth taking a chance on Salem bin Ghadayer's filly here. The step up in trip is not ideal, but the daughter of Honest Mischief will face little to no pace pressure and, if she can settle better, then she may well last home. Taswaheen and Ruby Hamilton are the pick of the remainder. Prediction : 1st Arigatou Gozaimasu 2nd Queen Azteca 3rd Taswaheen

Choisya may have caused a shock when beating an odds-on Godolphin favourite in the Cape Verdi here last month but it is hard to see her repeating that against CINDERELLA'S DREAM. Charlie Appleby's filly progressed well last year, winning a Grade 1 and Grade 2 in the US before going down narrowly when an unlucky second in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf at Del Mar. On that evidence she is likely to be far too good for these. The rest do not inspire much confidence, but Ultima should appreciate this step up in trip. Prediction : 1st Cinderellas Dream 2nd Choisya 3rd Ultima

INNER WISDOM has improved with every start since arriving in the UAE and put in a career best when second in a 1m2f conditions event here last month. The son of Teofilo was up against it at the weights that day, so did well in the circumstances and a mark of 81 should be workable on his handicap debut. Elraaed caught the eye when staying on into third over a mile here last week and could make the frame once again. Ezaj and National Bank have valid form claims but their draws are not ideal, while Classic City and Gun Crew merit each-way consideration. Prediction : 1st Inner Wisdom 2nd Elraaed 3rd Classic City

KEFFAAF and King Of Conquest look set to dominate this event having beaten most of these in the Al Khail Trophy over C&D last month. Michael Costa's gelding came out on top on that occasion and always seemed to be doing enough, despite holding on by just a head. That was King Of Conquest's second narrow defeat in a row and Keffaaf may have more improvement to come. All of the remainder have questions to answer, but Dubai Future should not be discounted on his return to action. Prediction : 1st Keffaaf 2nd King Of Conquest 3rd Dubai Future

Barq Al Emarat had Smart System back in second when winning over C&D last month but that race fell apart and the form can be questioned, even if the the latter did go on to win over 7f here three weeks ago. With that in mind, a chance can be taken on PIPES AND DRUMS following his promising effort on his UAE debut behind Smart System in that 7f contest. Salem bin Ghadayer's gelding was very slowly away on that occasion, but showed plenty of early pace to chase the leaders and looked set to challenge the winner turning for home. He tired badly in the final furlong, but a much better finishing effort can be expected down in trip and with the benefit of that first run since August. Al Arbed has been running well enough on turf of late and arrives here 4lb lower than when third in a much stronger race over C&D when last seen on the Meydan dirt a year ago. Prediction : 1st Pipes And Drums 2nd Al Arbed 3rd Barq Al Emarat
