POSITIVE ENERGY won on his latest Flat start for Willie McCreery over 1m2f at Navan last October and gets a tentative vote to make a winning start over hurdles for Michael O'Callaghan. Gordon Elliott has four runners and riding arrangements suggest Raydamann may prove the pick. The Sea The Stars gelding showed useful placed form in maidens last year for Johnny Murtagh but was found to have bled when disappointing on his hurdle debut for current connections at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. Glendower and Bursinel are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Positive Energy 2nd Raydamann 3rd Bursinel

DEE'S LADY was far from disgraced in a Fairyhouse bumper before making a promising debut over hurdles when beating all bar the highly-regarded Maughreen at Punchestown. The form of that maiden received a timely boost when the third, Familiar Dreams, won at Punchestown on Monday. Magic Day shaped well over C&D before placed behind Bayrann at Thurles and is an obvious threat with the De Bromhead yard showing signs of a return to form. Point-to-point winner Swing Davis was still in contention when falling two out at Fairyhouse last time, while stablemate Speculatrix has disappointed twice since falling at the last when set to win at Killarney.
Prediction : 1st Dees Lady 2nd Magic Day 3rd Swing Davis

JOHNNY BLUE has joined Willie Mullins from Nicky Henderson this season and was only collared close home when runner-up over a similar trip at Punchestown last time. He faces four rivals that were successful on their latest start including Mickie Angel who scored in good style over this distance at Fairyhouse but now races off an 11lb higher mark. Collaborative has been raised a total of 15lb for two wins this year including over C&D, while Prophet's Corner showed stamina was his strong point when making all over 2m7f at Punchestown. Chosen Diamond is not the most reliable performer but showed his best side when successful over this trip at Fairyhouse.
Prediction : 1st Johnny Blue 2nd Mickie Angel 3rd Prophets Corner

SERMANDZARAK won the valuable Goffs Defender Bumper at the Punchestown Festival last spring and has filled the runner-up spot twice over hurdles this season. The selection had Bossofthebrownies 10 lengths behind in third when putting in his best work at the finish at Punchestown last time and the addition of cheekpieces and this longer trip should suit. Custom Taylor's second to Will The Wise over a similar trip at Punchestown has worked out well since and he rates a greater threat than Flemensface, who has been lightly raced since beating Asian Master in a Cork bumper and was second to the odds-on Argento Boy in a 2m7f Punchestown maiden last month.
Prediction : 1st Sermandzarak 2nd Custom Taylor 3rd Bossofthebrownies

CHAMP KIELY looks like the class act here. The Grade 1-winning hurdler was an easy victor on his chase debut before fading to finish fourth behind stablemate Ballyburn in top level company on his second outing over fences at the Dublin Racing Festival. This is an easier task. Jeannot Lapin won at a massive price on his 'track' debut and was far from disgraced when fourth, albeit well beaten, behind Majborough back at Leopardstown in Grade 1 company. He rates the danger, while What's Up Darling has a rating of 137 and looks the one for third.
Prediction : 1st Champ Kiely 2nd Jeannot Lapin 3rd Whats Up Darling

EL FABIOLO can get back on track now after falling early on his return to action at Leopardstown last month. The four-time Grade 1 winner was making his first start since last April then, having chased home Jonbon in the Celebration Chase at Sandown. He should be too classy for these rivals now. Stablemate Grangeclare West ran a cracker when second in the Irish Gold Cup last time but this trip looks well short of his optimum. The other Willie Mullins-trained runner, Gentleman De Mee, was well beaten in the race won by Solness at Leopardstown but could be the one to chase home the selection.
Prediction : 1st El Fabiolo 2nd Gentleman De Mee 3rd Grangeclare West

It may pay to forgive SHANNON ROYALE for a below-par effort in the Thyestes last time. The Walk In The Park gelding came into that race having won his beginners chase at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and back against novices now, he should be capable of a much better show. Carl Millar takes 5lb off his back to ease his top-weight burden. No Flies On Him is another who may be capable of better than his last run. The Westerner gelding finished mid-division at Thurles last time but could get closer now trying handicap company. Theonewedreamof comes here in winning form and has to be respected despite taking a rise in grade.
Prediction : 1st Shannon Royale 2nd No Flies On Him 3rd Theonewedreamof

ENJOY THE DREAM gets the vote off an attractive looking mark on her handicap debut. The Grade 2-winning hurdler didn't appear to see out the trip at Fairyhouse last time and drops back almost two furlongs now. She had run well over shorter at Limerick previously when chasing home Release The Beast and looks capable of landing a race of this standard against her own sex. Lilian Bland has run well on her last couple of outings and looks like an obvious danger off a low weight. Tankardstown Diva was a solid fourth on her last outing and is another who comes into the mix.
Prediction : 1st Enjoy The Dream 2nd Lilian Bland 3rd Tankardstown Diva
