The James Owen trained seven-year-old was an easy 3 ¼ length winner over 2 miles here on his first run over hurdles for the stable who re-fitted his usual cheekpieces.
The handicapper has raised Tara Iti 8lbs for that victory but he instead runs here under a 7lb penalty meaning that he is 1lb “well in” at the weights. This step up in trip to 2m3½f is a slight question mark but he can follow up with Sam Twiston-Davies taking over on board.

Until Dawn now steps up in class off a 7lb higher mark but he looks progressive and can take advantage of a good draw in Stall 3.
