A progressive sort this season, YEALAND got back to winning ways with a determined performance at Newcastle last month and a 3lb rise for that success may not be enough to prevent him from following up. Galunggung won over shorter at Carlisle last time out and he may improve for going back up in trip, while Hermino AA is of interest returned to chasing for his in-form connections.
Prediction : 1st Yealand 2nd Galunggung 3rd Hermino AA

PIKE ROAD looked to be in control from the front when falling three out at Ludlow last month and Martin Keighley's charge can gain compensation on the drop in distance. His form sets the standard and he should have too much for Cahier's Den, who bounced back to form with a promising runner-up effort over 2m1f at Newcastle most recently. Brought down on his latest start at Musselburgh, High Dancer cannot be ruled out either.
Prediction : 1st Pike Road 2nd Cahiers Den 3rd High Dancer

A comfortable winner of his two career outings, including last time out when sent over to Catterick, JARRIVE DE MEE sets the standard for the all-conquering Willie Mullins stable and he can land the hat-trick on the drop in trip. Starcrossed Lover was never involved when upped in grade at Kempton last time out, but he should be much more at home at this level, while Break Point is likely to improve for his jumps debut at Warwick recently.
Prediction : 1st Jarrive De Mee 2nd Starcrossed Lover 3rd Break Point

Having displayed a willing attitude to open her account under Rules at Lingfield last month, there should be more to come from PRESENTING DOY. Emma Lavelle's mare enters handicaps off what looks a workable mark and she's fancied to follow up. Only a nose separated reopposing rival Miss Ireland and the selection at the Surrey venue and the daughter of Yeats isn't taken lightly racing off 3lb better terms. Wrappedinrubies is the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Presenting Doy 2nd Miss Ireland 3rd Wrappedinrubies

Duke Of Deception returned to form with a solid second at Warwick 10 days ago and he must enter the reckoning off an unchanged mark. However, those recent exertions could leave the eight-year-old vulnerable and WAL BUCK'S rates as the most solid proposition. The Buck's Boum gelding's jumping wasn't the most fluent when finishing third at Uttoxeter in January, but he makes grand appeal returning to the scene of his last triumph. The downgraded Amateur is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Wal Bucks 2nd Duke Of Deception 3rd Amateur

DIAMOND KODA encountered a progressive rival when he finished second over this trip at Doncaster last month. The winner of that race has gone in again since and, running off 1lb lower, Nick Kent's six-year-old looks too well treated treated to ignore, especially with Tom Broughton claiming a further 5lb from the saddle. Kourosh has something to prove stepping up in trip, so perhaps the reliable Typhoon Flyer could be a bigger danger on just his third start in a handicap.
Prediction : 1st Diamond Koda 2nd Typhoon Flyer 3rd Kourosh

MINELLA RESCUE returned from a break with a good second over this trip at Doncaster 17 days ago and should be cherry ripe with his bid to go one place better running off a workable mark on his handicap debut. Tiger Jet is weighted to go well and rates the chief danger to the selection, although Imperial Merlin stays well and is one to keep a close eye on back over hurdles on his first start back after wind surgery.
Prediction : 1st Minella Rescue 2nd Tiger Jet 3rd Imperial Merlin
