Javert Allen hasn't been out of the top two in any of his seven starts, most recently when just denied at Chepstow, and it would be no surprise to see him feature again off 4lb higher. However, he might come out second best to KING'S THRESHOLD, who made his way through the field to run out a five-length victor over 2m4f at Warwick. The Emma Lavelle-trained eight-year-old struck over this distance at Huntingdon prior to that and could continue his rise through the ranks. C&D winner Neon Moon completes the shortlist.
