She is more than entitled to improve from that effort, while Versace Twentyone appears best of the remainder.

ISKAR D'AIRY was a revelation at Huntingdon last week when allowed to make the running, and the seven-year-old is expected to be a tough nut to crack if arriving here in similar form. Night Jet lost a shoe when underperforming at Bangor last time and has every chance of leaving that effort behind him. Dirty Den and Chestnut Pete head the remainder.

RENOIR shaped with promise on his handicap bow at Taunton and, if able to find any further improvement, the Ben Clarke-trained top-weight might be able to break through. He's still respected from 2lb lower, while Lenjoleur De Palma is most appealing of the remainder.

Soldier Saint folded tamely on his racecourse debut and connections will be hopeful that a hood can spark an improved display. It might be best to look elsewhere, though, and a chance is taken on OUT THE MIST. Tom Weston's gelding, whose dam is a full-sister to former high-class chaser Ballycasey, makes plenty of appeal on paper and although his future will probably lie over further, this doesn't look the deepest bumper. Jimbo Sport heads the remainder.
