Oddschecker tips for every race at Clonmel on Thursday.

BALLYBRITTAS ran really well on his chase debut in a similar race at Thurles three weeks ago and can go one better. The Champs Elysees gelding chased home Spinning Web and that winner has gone in again at the same venue. Ballybrittas won his maiden hurdle over two miles so dropping back in trip doesn't look like an issue. On Lovers Walk looks nicely treated with a chase mark of 113, but this drop in distance would be a concern for the dual point-to-point winner. Luimneach was a decent sort over timber and this is a nice race for him on his chase debut, as his hurdles mark is just 1lb below the maximum rating.Prediction : 1st Ballybrittas 2nd On Lovers Walk 3rd Luimneach
15:12 Clonmel
Paul Townend sides with RATH GAUL BOY and the Well Chosen gelding is unexposed in this sphere. He was a touch keen when third to Springt De La Mare on his debut over fences at Punchestown last month. He improved for a run last year and this better ground may suit him. Stablemate Lombron has run a couple of solid races over fences to date and is entitled to be a big player as well. Western Fold has a decent mark of 134 and has experience on his side. He also has to be respected.Prediction : 1st Rath Gaul Boy 2nd Lombron 3rd Western Fold
15:42 Clonmel
A competitive event and DOONBEG DON may prove the pick stepping back up in trip. He ran into a well-handicapped rival in Don't Talk at Down Royal back in January and that rival went on to frank the form. That was over an extended 2m4f and the Soldier Of Fortune gelding may be better suited by this extra yardage, having won over a similar trip on his chase debut at Galway last October. Maciver comes here in tip-top form, but a 9lb rise for his narrow Limerick victory makes things tougher. Bite That won easily at Wexford and also has to be on the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Doonbeg Don 2nd Maciver 3rd Bite That
16:15 Clonmel
A moderate looking contest and Cian Collins might be able to take it with point-to-point winner CAPTAIN P. The Jet Away gelding took a five-year-old maiden at Tyrella in January and the horse that chased him home has run really well to be placed in two maiden hurdles since. Pour One More has produced some nice bumper runs this season, including when fourth at Limerick recently. He could be a danger on his jumping debut. Rockonliam was well supported when sixth on his first outing for Henry de Bromhead at Tramore on New Year's Day and may get closer now in this company.Prediction : 1st Captain P 2nd Pour One More 3rd Rockonliam
16:45 Clonmel
RACHEL'S SECRET ran much better last time after a disappointing effort on her return from a long absence at the start of the year. The six-year-old was well beaten in the end when third behind stablemate Custom Taylor at Limerick a fortnight ago, but travelled well until the turn and this drop back in trip should suit. She has the benefit of a recent run, which may prove the difference. Ashdale Flyer had some solid runs last season and, with a mark of 100, she's entitled to be thereabouts. Shannon Bank was placed twice in bumpers and she's another to consider on her jumping bow.Prediction : 1st Rachels Secret 2nd Ashdale Flyer 3rd Shannon Bank
17:15 Clonmel
VOLEZ VOUS sprang a shock last time and may be able to follow up in a weak race. The Yeats mare was 66/1 when scoring over 2m here, in a race that looked to have more strength in depth. There may be another one in her, despite a 7lb rise. Beeverstown Place ran well on his penultimate outing here, when fourth to Mount Shenshan, and drops back in trip having failed to make an impression over 3m subsequently. Chemdawg didn't run too badly when mid-division at Fairyhouse and could get closer now in this company.Prediction : 1st Volez Vous 2nd Beeverstown Place 3rd Chemdawg
17:45 Clonmel
This looks like the more competitive of the two divisions and TINGARRAN EXPRESS may prove the pick. She ran well on her return to action here last month, in testing conditions, just fading a touch late on when seventh behind Volez Vous. With that run under her belt, and better ground now, she is expected to go close. She has a bit to find with Heidi's Frontiere, who was third here four weeks ago. That was an improvement on her previous form and a similar showing gives her a big chance. Western Opera has hinted at ability in maidens and may be one to watch on her handicap debut.Prediction : 1st Tingarran Express 2nd Heidis Frontiere 3rd Western Opera
18:15 Clonmel
DOCTOR STEINBERG should prove hard to beat, despite returning from a year off the track. The Doctor Dino gelding ran a nice race when third to star stablemate Kopek Des Bordes when the pair made their debuts in the Tattersalls Sales Bumper last Easter. Cosmos D'ainay won a point-to-point in December and subsequently made 165,000 pounds at the sales. He's an interesting rival. Gavin Cromwell's newcomer Artsncrafts is another to note in the market. The Flat-bred Mastercraftsman gelding makes a belated debut at the age of six and is a half-brother to Impact Warrior, who was placed in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks.Prediction : 1st Doctor Steinberg 2nd Cosmos Dainay 3rd Artsncrafts
