The Olly Murphy trained PRESENT DE VANGO (best priced at 9/2) caught the eye in his first two qualifying runs over hurdles and he should be able to make a winning handicap debut off an opening mark of 92. The seven-year-old finished 5th beaten only 10 ½ lengths by the now 137 rated chaser Katate Dori in a bumper at Market Rasen before finishing 5th on his first two starts over hurdles at Warwick and Uttoxeter. He was sent off 150/1 for his final qualifying run at Ludlow and ran accordingly but now makes his handicap debut following 520 days off the track.
Olly Murphy has a superb record in handicaps this season operating at a 22% strike rate and a +£81.15 profit to a £1 level stake and he should prove a different proposition with Sean Bowen back on board.

LATTAM (best priced at 10/1) finished 2nd in this race last season and he should hold strong claims off only a 2lb higher mark. The Julie Camacho trained six-year-old has a superb record fresh with form figures of 1122 after more than a 100 day break and it is significant that he comes here on his reappearance.
A runner-up in the Balmoral Handicap behind Carrytheone on his final start last season, Ryan Sexton has options from Stall 12 and Lattam looks sure to be involved in the finish with up to seven places available.
15:50 Kempton
Ellaria Sand sets the standard based on form with a rating of 96 but she faces fillies with huge potential improvement, none more so than GLITTERING SURF (best priced at 13/2). The Owen Burrows trained three-year-old was well backed to make a winning debut over this course and distance in December when she eased clear by 3 ¼ lengths at the finish. The second that day has finished 2nd again since to bolster the form and a debut RPR of 93 was impressive.
Glittering Surf has no doubt been saved for this race since and she looks backing with David Probert taking over on board.
