Briefly has been running constistently well so far this season but often finds one too good and I expect that to be LA DOLCE DOLLY (best priced at 9/4) today who seemed to relish the step up in trip last time. The Andy Irvine trained mare was an impressive 10 length winner of a PTP in May before being exclusively campaigned over intermediate trips. She stayed on well to finish 4th on her handicap debut over 2m4½f furlongs at Market Rasen in February before winning over 3m1f at Plumpton last time.
The handicapper has raised La Dolce Dolly 4lbs for that ¾ length success and she looks the one to beat with Caoilin Quinn taking over on board.

The Jonny Portman trained BRINTON (best priced at 9/2) has form figures of 333127 in classified races this season and can be excused her latest effort at Lingfield over 1m2f where she never seems to perform at her best. Returned back to Wolverhampton where she has form figures of 43332, a better effort is expected back down in trip.
Brinton has run much better since the application of cheekpieces and looks sure to be involved in the finish.
