DELPOTRO posted what was arguably his best effort since arriving from France when able to finish third at Sedgefield last month. Charlie Longsdon's gelding was eased 1lb in the handicap and with Elizabeth Gale taking off a further 8lb, he should go close. Miss Fedora bolted up over this C&D off 4lb lower in January and although two lesser efforts have followed, she merits the utmost respect. Pleasure Garden is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Delpotro 2nd Miss Fedora 3rd Pleasure Garden

BLACKSAMSSENORITA impressed when making all in a maiden at Exeter recently and is hard to oppose after coasting to that 12-length success. A 7lb penalty shouldn't be an issue and, as a half-sister to a couple of winners over this sort of trip, the additional yardage is a natural step. Dance The Moon is the pick of the rest, although Back In The Bay merits a betting check now returning after wind surgery.
Prediction : 1st Blacksamssenorita 2nd Dance The Moon 3rd Back In The Bay

The betting should be a good source of clues and while Ballela Blaze and Abbeyhill are likely to be key players, it could be worth taking a chance that PURE THEATRE is up to giving weight away all round. A respectable second to an in-form opponent at Wincanton on Monday, a repeat of that performance could suffice if this doesn't come too quickly.
Prediction : 1st Pure Theatre 2nd Ballela Blaze 3rd Abbeyhill

LEADING SWOOP went in by over five lengths at Fontwell on his latest outing and the handicapper may have been kind to only put him up 6lb. The nine-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to complete a double. Dear Ralphy was well beaten into third in heavy conditions on his return to the larger obstacles, but this better ground should see him in a different light off 5lb lower. Delgany Monarch is the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Leading Swoop 2nd Dear Ralphy 3rd Delgany Monarch

NARRAGANSETT justified favouritism on his handicap debut in this sphere at Sandown last month and may have been worth more than the winning margin suggests. Neil Mulholland's juvenile has only been put up 5lb for that victory and could improve for this step up in distance. Shengai Enki filled the runner-up spot at Wincanton last week and is fancied to go well again. Last-time-out C&D scorer Lumi Plugin also needs to be taken seriously.
Prediction : 1st Narragansett 2nd Shengai Enki 3rd Lumi Plugin

Jorebel was able to reach the frame at Uttoxeter on Saturday and is taken to go well, but preference is for RIP WHEELER. The son of Walk In The Park plugged on into fourth over 2m at Sandown when making his handicap bow in February and, now upped in trip, it would come as no surprise were he to find the necessary improvement. Steel Dancer sports a tongue-tie for the first time and also makes some appeal.
Prediction : 1st Rip Wheeler 2nd Jorebel 3rd Steel Dancer
