The son of Saxon Warrior returned to the Flat with a fine second in an amateur riders' race at Musselburgh only six days ago and is taken to go one better competing off the same mark. C&D winner Glory And Honour makes most appeal of the remainder.

However, it has been a relatively quiet spell for the yard and the betting market should be helpful here. Kevin Ryan's progressive gelding could be hard to beat if picking up where left off in October. Previous C&D winners Ventura Express and Dream Composer are others solid contenders.

Last seen when a respectable seventh in a valuable nursery at York in August, this could be an ideal piece of placement by Richard Hannon for the returning son of Earthlight, who takes a drop back down in class today. Fan Mail and Lesley's Boy run for yards with very healthy strike-rates at this venue, with the latter being especially notable given Richard Fahey won four consecutive renewals of this race from 2015 to 2019.

DODDIE'S IMPACT is match-fit from a light all-weather campaigns and the still low-mileage four-year-old gets the vote back on turf from just 1lb above his only previous winning mark. Mrs Trump handled this course well on her most recent start and, having won when fresh last May, another bold showing looks likely. South Shore is also noted from a workable mark, while similar applies to One More Dream despite his turf record of 1-16 being a worry.
