Electric Bass is worth keeping an eye on now handicapping, although Sweet Cicely looks to have stronger claims on the back of finishing a creditable third at Newcastle.

He should get the better of Recon Mission on these terms but BURABACK gets the vote. Sent to the lead close home at Chelmsford last time, if he gets a clear run off 2lb higher he could double up.

Fistral Beach appears to be his biggest rival after being beaten a neck at Southwell, while Outreach has won here three times and also enters calculations off his lowly mark.

Heerathetrack failed to back up his success at Chelmsford when only fifth at Southwell earlier in the month, but he may be worth another chance. However, MATCH ANTHEM gets the nod. The four-year-old was only beaten a length over C&D on his penultimate start and competes off an unchanged rating. If he can reproduce that level of form, he could be the one to beat. Embarked isn't out of it either.

Life On The Rocks has occupied the runner-up berth on each of his last two starts and should remain competitive off a 1lb higher mark than his latest effort at Doncaster. However, he could come out second best to STRATEGIC FORTUNE, who went in over track and trip on his latest outing and a 2lb rise may underestimate the authority he showed over his rivals that day. Last-time-out C&D scorer Danehill Star is another to keep an eye on.
