Kyber Crystal made a winning return to action at Musselburgh earlier in the month and commands plenty of respect off a 3lb higher mark. The form was given a quick boost by the runner-up winning here the following week but the second from that more recent contest, JAMIE'S CHOICE, is fancied to go one better. Tracy Waggott's mare only went up 1lb for that display and a similar effort may suffice. Others to note are Glory Fighter and Let's Go Hugo.
Prediction : 1st Jamies Choice 2nd Kyber Crystal 3rd Glory Fighter

TEES AGGREGATES bounced back from a couple of below-par efforts at the end of the last campaign when runner-up over C&D a fortnight ago and Adrian Nicholls' gelding may well take advantage on this occasion, especially with the majority of the line-up returning from a break. Military Girl won here on her second start last May and remains open to improvement, while J Street and Beaujolais Nouveau appear best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Tees Aggregates 2nd Military Girl 3rd J Street

Having let down favourite-backers on both starts to date, BELGRAVIAN is expected to benefit from stepping up in trip in what appears to be a winnable contest on paper. Tralee Girl is bred to stay well and has to enter the reckoning based on her placed efforts at Wolverhampton. Newcomers Cayman Dancer and Dubaian can fight it out for the minor honours.
Prediction : 1st Belgravian 2nd Tralee Girl 3rd Cayman Dancer

TROIA won a decent-looking maiden at Newbury last summer and was then held on to until pitched into the Oh So Sharp at Newmarket in October. A respectable fourth in that Group 3, Ed Walker's Kingman filly has bags of scope and dropping back down in class provides an ideal platform for a confidence-boosting return. Magna Grecia Star eclipsed her promising Kempton debut with a facile success at Wolverhampton last month. Switching to turf, she is feared more than the newcomers Marsh Meadow and Invincible Ruby.
Prediction : 1st Troia 2nd Magna Grecia Star 3rd Marsh Meadow

ANOTHER BAAR is back on a nice mark and appeals strongly after making up for a slow start with an eyecatching finish over this trip on his seasonal return at Leicester. Animate struck over 6f here last June and, equally effective over this trip, he could be on the premises if he copes with being drawn widest of all. Capital Guarantee has fared better on that score and is another to bear in mind on his first start back after wind surgery.
Prediction : 1st Another Baar 2nd Animate 3rd Capital Guarantee

Hurdling didn't work out for STELLARMASTERPIECE, but she showed her appreciation for the return to the level when successful over C&D a fortnight ago and another bold bid is forecast. A 3lb nudge up the ratings looks more than workable for Micky Hammond's mare and she is preferred to reopposing second Magnetic North. The veteran enjoys a 1lb pull with the selection and he isn't taken lightly. Lawmans Blis is also noted reverting to the Flat.
Prediction : 1st Stellarmasterpiece 2nd Magnetic North 3rd Lawmans Blis

PROTEST RALLY returned from a 208-day break to finish a good second over track and trip earlier this month. Liam Bailey's gelding makes plenty of appeal racing off just 1lb higher and he looks primed to strike at this level. The biggest threat may emerge from Mojomaker, who reappeared after almost three months off with a respectable third at Thirsk. Market support for stable debutant Soul Seeker would be interesting.
Prediction : 1st Protest Rally 2nd Mojomaker 3rd Soul Seeker
