HORACES PEARL was unbeaten going into the Grade 1 Mersey Novices' Hurdle at Aintree and, given he stumbled two out, his fifth-placed finish in that race was commendable. Dedicated Hero is another key player after securing a Grade 2 success at Haydock most recently, while Minella Rescue and the unexposed Kiss Will are other notable contenders in a strong renewal.

FUN FUN FUN represents Willie Mullins and will likely prove a warm order. She won a Grade 3 novice chase with any amount in hand when upped to 3m at Limerick a month ago, and will likely prove hard to stop given these favourable terms. Stable companion Paggane scored nicely at Clonmel last time, but the progressive El Elefante is a bigger threat representing last year's winning trainer. Coco Mademoiselle was still in contention when falling at Cheltenham last week, though has plenty to find in this company.

PARISENCORE has been threatening a return to winning ways. Beaten only a neck in the Castleford Chase at Wetherby in December, he returns to action here and Nicky Richards' charge gets the vote. Netywell showed signs of a resurgence when runner-up at Kelso and looks on a workable mark, while Etalon drops in class and is no forlorn hope for the Skelton yard. Vocito represents last year's winning trainer and makes most appeal of the rest.

Little Miss Dante looks fairly treated based on her latest fourth at Aintree, while Hay Meadow can make her presence felt now handicapping after landing a novices race at Ayr. Parisian Fashion is another to note.
