The first-time-blinkered VANDERBILT HOUSE showed nice form as a juvenile and again ran to a useful level in March. She normally races with the pace, which suits for Sligo, and although beaten at the Curragh on her recent reappearance, she nonetheless ran well in defeat, with the runner-up again second next time out. Wait For It finished ahead of a subsequent winner at Dundalk in November. She drops back in distance on her reappearance, but should get involved. Agouti Bear was well held in a Cork handicap last October, but had shown form in maidens.

CHESTER NIMITZ has shown consistently useful form and should be fine reverting to this distance. He bumped into a gambled-on debut winner at Bellewstown last month, with that form boosted by the third scoring subsequently, and he seems ground-versatile. Titan Sun attracted late market support when running well on his Curragh debut last October. Out of a Listed winner, he is open to plenty of progression, although he meets the more experienced selection. Ceo Stealth Mode was a 150,000-euro breeze-up purchase and although he could be quite useful, he didn't race as a juvenile and debuts at a difficult, turning course for newcomers.

RATTLETHEONIONBAG is a 21-race maiden, but has been running consistently well in recent times. Most of her better form is on the all-weather, but she has been placed on turf in the past and failed to gain a breakthrough success by only a short head at Dundalk in March. Dark Enigma went unsold for 900gns both last August and September and now debuts for new connections, on her first run for 338 days. Lightly raced, she was placed on each of her last four starts and notably ran well over C&D last May. Hezahunk beat the selection when winning at Dundalk last month, but has raced just four times in his career on turf.

DUMB LOVE is an able type at this level and ran well in a useful race last month. A maiden winner over almost a mile in 2023, she was beaten by a nicely-in winner at Gowran, while the runner-up scored subsequently and today's rival Bynx finished fourth. Stablemate Makaiah is a 12-race maiden, but has useful recent form and stays well. You Make Me Smile struck over hurdles at Clonmel last month and now attempts to follow up on the Flat. Admittedly, last year's form was poor but she can get involved for the places at least.

Now a three-time Listed winner after her success at Chelmsford on Thursday, Lady With The Lamp has provided Kevin Blake, Emma Palmer, Michael Wilson and Nick Luck with plenty of joy in recent times. BESET now starts off for the quartet, with this one also in the care of Joseph O'Brien. Previously trained by Henry Candy and a winner when last seen at Wolverhampton in October, the Expert Eye bay was bought for 25,000 pounds. O'Brien is also represented by Cork maiden hurdle winner Carried With Love and top-weight Lemsairbat, with the latter also starting off for the Carriganog handler. C&D winner No Niki No is of definite interest with Billy Lee aboard, while Sacred Oath and Fratas are others for the shortlist in this competitive affair.

GRIZABELLA didn't get the rub of the green when runner-up at Cork on her first appearance for Paul Flynn and, granted better luck, she can reward those supporters who keep the faith in her. A switch to more positive tactics helped Top Of The Pops spring a Gowran surprise and he is a danger, especially if able to dictate terms to suit himself. Dynamite Defense's Limerick third was a step in the right direction, while Anjah signed off 2024 with a Dundalk triumph and is worth a look on his comeback.

ANGELO PIO was a real eyecatcher when a never-nearer fourth on his handicap debut at Navan last month and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to go a few places better now. He showed signs of inexperience when hanging in the closing stages and there should be plenty more to come. Joseph O'Brien trains the selection and is also responsible for Magnolia Drive. While she has shown virtually nothing to date, she still warrants respect off an initial mark of 63. Another with poor form to her name is One Of A Kind. She does represent powerful connections, though, is out of a Listed winner and is tried in blinkers for the first time. Gowran runner-up Ribee, dual winner Tam Lin and Cork third Birdie Time are other leading hopes.
