Hopes Are High was prominent throughout when a close third to Aston Value over C&D, while Wegotogether caught the eye when keeping on well after a tardy start on debut at the Curragh.

FIRST WAVE was only headed close home when beaten a neck by better fancied stablemate Expanded on debut at the Curragh. The son of Wootton Bassett has probably shown a similar level of form when a beaten favourite on all three outings since, including when second to Dupont Law on the opening day of the turf season over this trip at the Curragh. Daler didn't enjoy the clearest of passages when third to County Mayo over C&D last autumn and the form of that race has worked out quite well since. Ben Lawers, Pierre Royal and Rizal are newcomers to keep a close eye on and any market support would be significant.

Just a neck separated AMEERAT JUMAIRA and Goodie Two Shoes when filling the places behind the impressive Bubble Gum in the Listed Noblesse Stakes over 1m4f at Cork last month, with Lady Doris over three lengths back in sixth. The selection progressed well in handicaps last year winning at Dundalk and the Curragh and, having come home strongly at Cork, has every chance of staying this trip on her favoured sound surface. Cheeky Wink has reportedly strengthened up this year and scored in good style at Tipperary last time but is another stepping into the unknown distance wise.

JANCIS showed a smart turn of foot when successful on her opening two starts over 7f at Leopardstown including the Group 3 Brownstown Stakes. She found Group 1 company too hot subsequently in the Matron Stakes but remains a filly of considerable potential and it will be interesting to see how she copes with this step up in trip. Riding arrangements suggest Uluru is preferred of Joseph O'Brien's trio and she's closely matched with Thalara on running behind Lord Massusus over a mile at Leopardstown last month. Madam Celeste had Annaghmccanns behind when fourth to Bubble Gum over 1m4f at Cork and shouldn't be inconvenienced by this shorter distance.

Leopardstown runner-up TSWALU should be able to go one better. Although no match for the winner on that occasion, the filly who beat her franked the form when second in a Group 3 next time. Joseph O'Brien's daughter of Justify should be all the better for that reappearance effort and will be hard to beat. Joyful Princess sets a fair standard with an official rating of 82. Having taken minor honours on her last two starts as a juvenile, the Jessica Harrington-trained filly has to be respected on her first outing of the campaign. Crystal Ball is entitled to be sharper having finished fourth on her introduction. The application of first-time cheekpieces should also aid her cause.

LETTERS OF LOVE has every chance of reversing recent Tipperary form with Cala Bonita over this shorter trip. Well supported beforehand, the Joseph O'Brien-trained filly looked a real threat when coming through to challenge. However, she had no more to offer inside the final furlong and faded into fifth, suggesting that a drop back to this mile will suit. A daughter of Calyx, she should have no issues with quicker ground. Cala Bonita stepped up on her maiden efforts when runner-up in that contest and a reproduction of the performance would make her a real threat. James The Second, who was second at this track last time, also merits consideration.

Cork fifth MAY NIGHT has strong claims back on a sounder surface. Despite having placed form on soft ground, the seven-time all-weather winner registered his only previous turf victory on good going. A prominent racer, the Shane Duffy-trained seven-year-old will be suited to this track and, well handicapped on his best form, he showed enough last time to suggest he will soon be adding to his tally. Naas scorer Harry The Rogue has to be respected now that he has finally gained that elusive winning bracket. However, he has work to do to reverse Cork form with the selection. Sayfa Fad is also worthy of consideration with Colin Keane booked.

It could pay to take a chance on the Paul Nolan-trained JARVIS BROOK. Narrowly denied on his reappearance at this track last season, the gelding disappointed in subsequent outings. However, he shaped well enough when third over hurdles when last seen to suggest that he is capable of winning races. Glencullen has yet to win from 12 attempts, but it is surely significant that Joanna Morgan has persisted with the lowly-rated five-year-old. He has hinted on more than one occasion that he has the ability to get his head in front. Dinamine also holds claims for Michael Mulvany.
