The veteran I'm A Starman is enjoying a new lease of life and bids for a hat-trick, although this is a tougher contest than he won at Warwick last time.

Returning to good ground is a plus and the eight-year-old is preferred to Manowest, who hasn't shown much in recent outings but finished placed here before and represents an in-form yard. Third over 2m at this track earlier in the month, Money To Burn may improve significantly for going up in trip.

An easy winner over C&D last week, MANALA is likely to have plenty more improvement forthcoming and she can bring up the double under a 7lb penalty. Runner-up on each of her two starts since scoring at Taunton in November, Chabadatika is entitled to be thereabouts again, as is Edna E Mode, who put in a career best over obstacles when second on her handicap bow at Ludlow.

Aslukgoes returns from a long absence, but landed a Listed bumper at Newbury in February 2023.

A reproduction of the six-year-old's latest second at Taunton could prove sufficient and he's taken to repel likely chief rival Regal Cavalier. Max Young's charge was runner-up at a massive price at Ludlow last month and a similar performance should see him in the mix. The Great Escape is the pick of the remainder.

The six-year-old won going away and a 7lb higher mark is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Cawthorne Banker lurks on a dangerous mark.
